First two race results:
Race 1 > #7 at 3 - 1 ...won easily (6-1 morning line)
Race 2 > #3 romped! (2-1 morning line)
Race 4 - #8 won over 6...... at 5 - 1
I have a 40 cent Pick5 alive to:
8 = 2 x 59
9 = 2 x 57
10 = 2 x 114
A bit disappointing I thought....all should be $100 - 200 each

Thursday weather from track:
-West wind and warm, but not as bad as last 2 days...no rain expected/ very fast track
-12-16 mph gusts to begin and then second half of the card SW wind of half of that
-these conditions favour front end horses and 2nd over could work ...1st over not so much in my opinion although I have seen some work that trip out to wins from the half a lot this past 2 weeks

Race 1 - very interesting non-winners of 1 race....my fave category as you can often find a key or get a major upset like tonight...
-throw away the 8 - 10 positions
-fastest back half horses need to go in + speed off the gate with inside position
-BEST small play horses are 56, and they have great gate position because I know 8-10 don't have enough horse to get the lead on one of those 2
-really like 1, 2 and 4 (2nd time lasix and a driver who likes the front...deadly combo for an upset!)
-long and gonna throw in ...#7 and #3...although that one has been off and goes against my golden rule which is horses off for longer than 10 days are out of race practice and have to have best driver plus nearly best times and last quarters to have a chance to win....like the 7 because the horse has been doing great times on B-tracks with B-drivers....Luc can shave 5 seconds here with track and driver difference

Race 2 - #7 Tipsy in Dixie with JMAC looks like a lock especially considering the horse leaves, has won 7 of 13 races and has not shown a break on the program...the horse is breaking my 10 day rule so I do need to look for one other if it is close
- #2 is putting a driver onto a trotter that has had the trainer's son drive and its competitive so expect a 2 second shave of time and its right there with JMAC
Going with only 27 ....all other horses have warts

Race 3 - #2 would have been overwhelming fave but now SCRATCHED
-#3 needs a driver to move the horse and JMAC has done that already at a track that is notoriously a front end speed track
-#5 race decently with gold and its a Bax horse with a good trot driver
-same with #6
-#7 is super impressive and Z-man is a wizard with Trotters and driving them
-#9 has won from the outside and easily already on the engine and has a good Trot driver....maybe the best on the track
USING > 35679
Race 4 - #6 has got to be the KEY........because of this combo : McNair/Moreau/Brad Grant combo and the fact the horse race in 151 despite being off for over 4 weeks ...and has the middle of the gate and loves to leave! Scott Coulter on #3 will not dare pass McNair on the lead and if he does....McNair will come right back out and I don't think Coulters horse is good enough to catch him after being used hard!
-#6 should get soft fractions as a result unless McNair decides to kill the horse with speed on purpose and then I would look for the fastest back half and that is possible with IDEAL JET out of the #9 hole who used to be fast enough to get to the lead but I doubt can do so on McNair as a 10 yr old ...#10 is a wild card too with good speed so I think a barn race is possible here with the horse with the fastest back half and that is #1 or #8
MANY... will key #6
I might too but also play one ticket with 138910....

Wow....what a romp by #5 in the first race! 151' 1 ...track is very fast tonight
Sorry...forgot to post Race 5 picks for Pick5 but if you are playing a Pick4....in RACE 5, I really like 56 ...but you have to put in #2 but it has breaking issues ....of the two outside horses, I like #10 a lot and ...not putting in #9 on my main ticket but rather did a back up ticket with 56 in this first race with 7/ 5 horses/ 6 / All to give me some longshots and a chance at maybe hitting a 40 cent play
Race 2 - opening odds....#2 opens up 2nd favourite and #7 is 3/5 ....#9 is third fave

Welcome aboard...I cap on my experience, not hunches but as you know...instincts matter so I hope you do well
I am not playing a Pick4 since the double was hammered down from $7 to $4 with Race 3 > 6 / 6 .....track is very fast tonight and I do not see #6 being beaten unless they create a speed battle
I am capping for a late Pick5 and maybe some big exactors ...will post horses I like in each race if you are tailing but you do your betting
Cheers

Got the $2 exactor...
Locked on a line means the horses head cannot straight as it moves on a curve or straight away...head pole gets clipped on something....notice #6 was fine once on the last straightaway??
Thats what I said......it was tonnes the best horse but had the equipment issue
