If we go off of your premise of the refs when capping this game, and that Crawford is brought in for the SU win...I would tend to think that the ats outcome would be determined by the public bet% or money. If in fact you feel that this referee angle holds water, and the cavs are pre determined to win, then what does it matter to rig the ats as well in favor of the books...
Just saying. I myself will look at multiple angles and trends.

Public were on Hawks today? so books must have raked in the cash in this game. Dan Crawford was the big giveaway here.....we all know his record w Lebron games and is pretty much the sole reason why i took the Cavs.
Lebron has been given the pass once again since the Bulls series, not that he needed it w/ a Hawks team that ended up missing 2 key players and Carroll playing less than 100% out there wasn't ideal for a championship run.......but either way i never had them getting out of the west and i stated that who ever they face in the ECF will end up advancing - but i had Chicago as that team. I feel Bulls should be advancing right now w/ 4 consecutive games where refs were on Lebrons side......but this has been occuring for a long time now w/ Lebrons teams - he is the leagues cash cow and they will continue to ride him as long as it continues to bring in revenues and ratings.

Nice run 3 Ball. Books killed ats and ML. I was on the wrong side of the total...even though I thought it was initially a good bet. That bench won't see anymore playing time in the finals. Good for them they practiced their 3ball(no pun intended) in garbage time.
I feel the dubs and Kerr overcome any ref bias. Too good, too deep, too talented...coaching disparity.

Thanks mate. I'm back on track now. Refs will become even more of a factor come Finals time.
I hope your right about Warriors overcoming any potential ref bias......but this is Lebron we are talking about. The script has most probably been already written we just have to figure out wich team the league has crowned champs already. I can't figure it out right now but i am extremely concerned w/ wether the NBA wants their golden child to be beaten by new comers. We saw how the Thunder were treated in their first finals vs Lebrons Heat. Gonna have to take it one game at time until i can get some sort of a read.

Total Home Team ATS: 101-103-5 Total Home Team W/L: 113-96
Total when line is between 5-9.5: 29-30Against the Home Fave
Conclusio/Predictionn: Same as above.....GSW wins but Memphis covers. Lean: MEM +9.5
I lost this play. Golden State, wich was the Home team ended up winning and taking the series by 20pts.
Mauer arecurrently 7-4 for the home team in the playoffs. Mauer and Malloy usually ref as a pair apart from two game but Brothers ref'd instead of Malloy in those games and both times the home team won.
Malloy is 5-4 for the Home Team. Brothers is 7-2 for the home team these playoffs.
= 19-10 for the home team.
There's not much more to be said here. I initially was leaning Warriors for game 5 and now we have 3 refs that support the play. Again, i will sleep on it and see if a fresh mind doesn't think the same thing.
Leaning:
GSW -10.5
We saw last game the massive FT disparity and also the PF disparity. We also saw Howard not get ejected w/ a strike to Boguts head, wich should be auto-ejection. Gibson didn't strike Dellevadova's head and just retaliated from a leg lock and he got eject. That signified an obvious bias to the Rockets. Joe Crawford and crew were on Houston and if Howard would have been ejected it could have risked a potential Warriors come back and cover.
So now we most prob have a public reaction from game 4 that Houston has a shot at this and that they can easily cover the massive 10.5 pts and w/ that series come back win against the Clippers in peopels minds would further lean their opinions toward Rockets for game 5.
I think this is one of those perfect betting situation/opportunities and GSW is that opportunity for this game. We have everything backing it, script, public perception and officiating crew.

i bet on warriors to sweep at very nice odds before the series started so im pretty annoyed they lost last game, i also have them to win in a series bet -2.5 so i need them to win tonight. I would of won both bets had they finished off the rockets. Oh well... Im prob going ot lay off betting any extra wagers on this game even though im tempted to bet warriors first qtr and first half.

you'd have to blame Mr Joe Crawford for ruining your sweep bet - last game was as rigged as it gets.
it's a little tricky today but i'm going to continue to ride these refs, it's been money all playoffs. If these refs stay true to their stays you'll get your series bet by the end of game

Close out game here and the inexperienced Warriors do not look like they have any killer instinct here. They look slow, passive and nervous. This does not bode well for them knowing they have Lebron & the Cavs in the finals if they end up taking this series. Let's see if their determination changes throughout this game. They do look nervous early.

Seems refs started to call more FT's in the end there - balancing out boxscore before continuing 2h? i'm not sure what they are up to right now. End of 3Q will reveal.

there it is. HUUUGE discrepency - refs revealed. GSW most prob wins and takes the series but Houston covers the spread. could be between a 5-8pt Warriors win.
