3Ball if you can't see the agenda yet not sure what to say -- they want this to go to 7
I understand your thinking was based on what you thought the league agenda was and that's to give Cavs the best advantage by extending the GSW/HOU series so Cavs/Irving in particular would get extra days rest.
But now that it hasn't gone to 7 as you thought and since you partly based your Cavs as champions prediction on this series to go to 7, are you as confident w/ the idea that the league wants Lebron & the Cavs to win this years championship?

If covers public consensus is anywhere near accurate their may be a bloodbath today and Vegas rakes in the benefits.
Not only did the books rape the public w/ the GSW cover for the full game but fairly sure they must have raked it in for the 2H wagers on Houston also. 7 seemed huge for Warriors to cover seeing how Rockets were keeping it close and Harden was getting to the line. 1 point cover to boot
Vegas is currently doing the Harden cooking gesture as we speak

Mauer now 8-4 for the home team in these playoffs. Brothers now 8-2 these payoffs. Malloy now 6-4 for the home team these playoffs.
Together as a crew they are 3-0 for the home team.
= 22-10 for the home team
^^Something to monitor as the finals rolls in. Would be interesting if they send this crew for any particular game these finals, especially a key game such as game 1, 3 or 5.

- Price holds the clue? Cavs are currently $3.00 in my book - GSW is $1.40. I am quite surprised. This reminds me abit of the Manny Pacquiao/Mayweather fight where Many was around $4.00 opening price & Mayweather was around $1.40 also. Public was hammering Manny for the most part w/ such a juicy price - pretty sure Vegas & the books killed it that fight. We have a similar situation here......i mean who wouldn't take the best player in the world w/ a chance to triple your money!!??!! over GSW where you'd have to put in as significant amount for a decent return? Interesting.......
- League Agenda. Will the league allow their golden boy, their cash cow be beaten by first timers? Miami/Thunder series comes to mind. It was experienced vets vs young guns - league was never going to allow their golden boy to be out shined by young new comers. Will this be a similar situation? Or was a veteran packed Miami team significantly different to this Cavs team who only really has Lebron w/ any finals experience!?
- Inexperience. Game 5 was a close out game for the Warriors and they came out very tentative, nervous almost, slow and did not have the killer instinct early on. Not a good sign when you're about to face Lebron and potential bias officiating. Will Golden State shrink in the finals atmosphere, where everything gets even more intense? or will they find a way to overcome any 'deer in headlights' type situations. One good thing here for the Warriors is apart from Lerbon (& Miller & Jones) there aren't any other key players on that team that have finals experience either. Cavs does have an advantage in that sense that they have a player who has vast experience & the leadership becomes advantageous in the finals playoffs atmosphere. But will that be enough for the Cavs?
- New Blood. I mentioned this prior to the playoffs that the league may want new blood in the finals and also as champions. I initially did have the Bulls to come out the East.....in a fair, just & legit world i think that was highly likely, but the league loves the money too much that comes w/ Lebron. This kinda ties into last season when i stated how the league wanted Spurs to win as a way to clean up the league from all the game fixing headlines/Donaghy, rigged lotto, Miami players colluding etc. especially a good timing w/ Stern retiring and a new commissioner in charge and thought what a better way to make the league look innocent and clean by allowing the Spurs, who were the complete antithesis of Miami, to win the NBA Championship......and what happened? they won the NBA Championship sending Lebron to flee once more. Is new blood in order here to further make the league look like it's not purely out for money and playing favoritism to Lebron? Remember also that w/ each Miami loss last season the ratings would go up, compared to each time they won. Is this a similar situation here? do people still want to see Lerbon lose?
- Officiating. Key games & ref crews, specifically games 1, 3 & 5. Who ever they send for each of these games & the results for each game in correlation to ref stats is significant in trying to figure out wich team the league wants to hold up that trophy & will be something i will be heavily observing. Key refs such as Joe Crawford & Dan Crawford both wear Lebron jerseys. Wich games will they be sent in and who is up or down in the series when they are sent. all of these holds clues into determining series winner and 2015 NBA Champs. Again, we take it one game at a time and wait to see ref assignment for each game before determining a play.
- Game 1. I feel that this game is always key. Who ever takes this game will help me sus out what the league is up to and then who takes game 3 and game 5 ties into the whole thing. But game 1 result will be very interesting. Just to get that first win under your belt, you kinda have a mental edge when you take that first game spite if you lose the 2nd. In any way will it ever predict the winner but i find game 1 always interesting, especially ref crews sent and how it's officiated.
- GSW will be Cavs toughest opponents in the playoffs. Cavs has faced a weak, young & inexperienced Boston club, A Chicago Team who were filled w/ completely new players, Rose who just came back from surgery and although he played great is not 100% himself, Noah also visibly not himself and is the heart of that team. Cavs also faced an Atlanta team who i predicted was never going to make it out of the East. Could you imagine the ratings if Atlanta was to advance to the finals? who wants to watch them? Furthermore they were missing Thabo, Korver got injured - i'm assuming for the rest of the playoffs even if they did go to the finals and Carroll another key piece is hobbled. So the Warriors becomes their toughest test. Apart from Speights, who i think will be back anyway, Warriors are complete and healthy. Warriors has the weapons to keep up w/ Cavs shooters wich many of the other teams did not.
So who am i leaning atm? i'm really not certain. My heart is obviously with the Warriors. Everybody knows my stance w/ Lebron. I actually like the Cavs as a team in general though. They are stacked, well balanced and have alot of talent. Not to mention they have two bigs who both dominate the glass in Thompson and Mosgov - both of them are very much difference makers. They also have multiple players who can sink the 3ball wich matches up to Golden State's 3pt assassins. Golden State on the other hand are also quite stacked and filled w/ alot of talent. THey can keep up w/ Cavs offensive punch.
I'm approaching this one game at a time, one ref crew at a time and then as games progress i'll see if i can't predict a winner for this series. This should be fun.

GL Bro, Ive been riding GS since theyve impressed me after their memphis domination after going down 2-1. Im all over GS. Hopefully the refs are mostly fair in this series.

Let's take a look @ Clippers/Rockets game 5 ref crew
Monty McCutchen:
7-1 SU for Home Team. Ref'd one Rockets game @ Dallas - Dallas won at Home by 12pts. Ref'd 2 Clippers game. Game 3 vs Spurs. Spurs won @ Home by 27pts. REf'd game 7 in same series - Clippers won at Home to take the series by 2pts. That's the same game here Duncan was given a phantom foul call on Chris Paul.
James Capers:
5-1 SU for Home Team. Also ref'd that same game 7 w/ McCutchen in the Spurs/Clipper series where Clips won @ Home to take the series.
Sean Wright:
3-2 for Home Team. REf'd game 2 Spurs/Clips - Spurs won on the Road in OT by 4pts.
Combined: 15-4 SU for Road Team
As i mentioned McCutchen and Capers both ref'd that game 7 suspect Clippers victory @ Home vs the Spurs by 2 pts. McCutchen & Capers also ref'd together game 2 CAvs/Chicago game - Cavs won at Home by 15pts.
Looks like Home friendly crew here. Good for the Rockets.
Houston did indeed cover that game @ home by 21pts. But i also took the home team for the Houston/Warriors game 2, wich was GSW -8.5. Warriors won the game but did not cover as they won by 1 pt.
- Currently McCutchen is 8-2 for the Home team these playoffs. - Currently Capers is 6-2 for the Home team these playoffs. - Currently Phillips is 5-4 for the Road team these playoffs.
Refs total 18-9 in favor of home team.
These same refs also were the exact same ref crew who officiated that shady game 7 in the Spurs/Clippers series, w/ that phantom foul on Duncan on CP. Clippers were the home team.
Plays: GSW -5.5 UNDER 204
Super Line & Total Double
Golden State Warriors -0.5 & Under 207.5

I think if indeed the agenda is to have GSW hold up that trophy then most they take game 1. Let's see if refs are on the same side.

Didn't think Warriors would win the game let alone cover
Again, whent w/ ref stats & came through yet again. interesting to see who they'll send for game 2.....if they are both Crawfords get ready to load up on Cavs - W/ Irving potentially out the public will be all over the Warriors. Again, will await ref assignment prior to making a play.
