I'm busiest in the playoffs where i make plays every day there are games. Personally, It's also the easiest part of the season to me because officiating becomes even more a factor, specifically in the finals. It essentially becomes about basing plays off ref stats, tendencies, history and league agenda as much as it is about match ups. On a 16-5 streak atm w/ plays all based on refs.

Refs seemed to have favored Warriors early w/ 2 quick fouls on Cavs, including 1 on Lebron. It felt like home cooking early on but then Lebron started to get away w/ alot of fouls/travels and Cavs began to take the lead. Lebron pretty much carried the Cavs from the tip.
2Q:
CLE 10 - GSW 6 FT CLE 7 - GSW 9 PF
Golden State started to get loose in the 2nd quarter.
3Q:
CLE 16 - GSW 10 FT CLE 13 - GSW 13 PF
Lebron continuing to get the benefit of the whistles. Cavs have had 8 FT's since the 1Q, Warriors only 4 FT's since then.
4Q:
CLE 19 - GSW 14 FT CLE 15 - GSW 16 PF
Warriors either come back or lead each time Lebron comes off and the bench for each teams play. It seemed Cavs got the calls each time Warriors are coming back, leading or the game is close.
OT:
CLE 19 - GSW 18 FT CLE 17 - GSW 16 PF
Cavs failed to score until a meaningless Lebron, stat padding drive to end OT.
All i know is that i based my Warriors play on the refs home record these playoffs and it paid off. To me it looked like refs were evidently sent in for the home team but to keep the game close and prevent any blow outs. That's the only way i can explain why Cavs were getting more FT's most of the game giving them the advantage until late in the 4th and OT.
As i stated prior to game 1 if indeed GSW are to take this series then they take game 1. I would have taken it one game at a time still, not totally convinced of any Warriors championship because i'm not certain where the league is going w/ this all......but now w/ Irving out i really can't see Lebron/Cavs taking this - UNLESS Cavs receive heavy assistance by the refs. I'll still take it one game at a time but will most likely wager on Warriors as soon as the Cavs win a game......and i think they do take at the very least one game.
Game 2 thoughts later.

Ok let's have a look at finals game 1.
1Q:
CLE 8 - GSW 6 FT CLE 5 - GSW 5 PF

Initially i was going to ride Chicago for gm4. It seems like everybody is expecting a Cleveland bounce back game. My view was that surely they couldn't try to fix 2 consecutive games for the Cavs after that terribly officiated gm3. The league can't be that blatant!?!?!
Well it looks like they're sending Crook Scott Foster for this game. I just looked at his record in the playoffs and this dude is 6-1 SU for the road team. I'm not sure ATS-wise but from brief look at scores in those games he has a positive record for road team ATS. Does the league want to push for a game 7 in what looks like a pretty decent ratings series? because sending it back to Cleveland 2-2 will most def guarantee at the very least 6 games.
I'll go w/ that angle and foster helping the play. If i'm on the wrong side & bulls win.....hey, it's still a win for me w/ my future series bet on the Bulls.
Foster saved me from a Bulls play in that game 4 Cavs/Bulls series. Another situation where officiating stats provided a winning play over any other angles i had initially thought.
After that game Foster was 7-1 in the playoffs for the Road team. I then whent on to Bet Houston on the road in game 6 vs Clippers where Foster was sent in. I won that bet too w/ Houston winning by 12 pts on the road.
I then whent on to bet Cavs on the Road game 1 ECF vs Atlanta because Foster was again sent in. This is what i had posted about that game:
"Foster is 8-1 SU for the Road team after that Houston win and cover. If
Cavs wins this 1st game it takes away home court advantage from the
Hawks - wich is perhaps what the league would want to get their cash cow
Lebron the chance to advance to the finals. So as i've been saying now
for the last 3 season "if indeed the Cavs are supposed to advance they
will take this 1st game t insure that agenda".
Play
CLE +1.5"
Cavs won by 8 pts. Foster was then 9-1 for the Road team these playoffs.
Foster then whent on to Ref game 3 of GSW/Houston series. I bet Warriors since they were on the road and they blew out Houston by 25pts. Foster is now 10-1 for the Road team these playoffs.
But things get a little interesting w/ the other two refs.......
Brothers is 9-3 for the Home team. Zarba is 7-3 for the Home team.
These two are 16-6 combined for the Home Team. So now combined these refs are 17-10 for the Home team.
Obviously if the other two refs were on the same page as Foster it wouldn't even be a question here and i blindly put my money on the Cavs. I do already lean the Cavs for game 2, especially because Irving is out......so Foster does make my lean closer to a play. But these other 2 refs has me 2nd guessing a little, specifically Brothers since i just made a winning wager 2 games ago on Warriors in that elimination game because GSW were @ Home. Let's take a look at their regular stats.
When home team is fave by between 5-9.5:
Brothers: 8-12 Zarba: 8-14 Foster: 9-13
= 25-39 for the Road team
So far i have not been using reg stats to base my plays on, strictly playoff stats. I think i may use reg stats this time round since it is the finals now and stats over all for refs become more a factor. Foster being the head ref also is significant here.10-1 is just too glaring. When Foster's the head honcho the other two merely follow. Remember also that Foster was in Donaghy's book, stating that Foster was the recipient of 134 phone calls from Donaghy and that a report said that Donaghy called Foster more than any other ref and
that he didn’t call any other official more than 13 times. This guy is a crooked as they get. Let's se if i can be on the same side w/ him.

Article about the Donaghy/Foster connection. The article also stated:
"The website NBAstuffer.com
says that home teams have won 75 percent of the games this postseason
in which Foster was the main referee, with road teams getting called for
54.1 percent of fouls."
That was in 2012. Foster has obviously gone away from his home friendly ways this season. Last post season he was 8-5 for the home team, 7-5 for the home team in 2013 & 7-5 For Home team in 2012.

Here's my take on this. Love gone, now Irving done - Big Blow for the Cavs!! Furthermore Warriors fully healthy, are one game up after winning the opener in OT and playing @ home again - Everything seems to be leaning towards Warriors right? Wrong perhaps......It's probably the perfect time to take the Cavs while everything seems to be pointing away from Cleveland. Plus Foster, one of the biggest crooks in the league, has been sent and is 10-1 for the road team these playoffs. Surely the Warriors wouldn't need any assistance for this game!.......so Foster may then be sent to help out Lebron & crew, right. When the public think Cavs are cooked and done w/ Irving suddenly out & people think Warriors has this in the bag.....Cavs surprise w/ the assistance of Foster & crew and even up the series. Wich then gives the perception that Cavs may have a hope after all & move on to play game 3 back in Cleveland w/ series tied 1 a piece.
I also think that Silver and his homies sat in the league office & thought to themselves 'WTF did we do?!......why did we send a Love-less Cleveland, w/ a hobbling Irving to the finals. Irving now gone & now ratings are ruined. We should have just allowed nature to take it's course & had Bulls advancing'. They gotta make the most out of it. Lebron has to win at the very least one game. I think this may be the one.

Research teams ATS records when when a star goes down in the first game. I would bet very very good. Teammates play over over their heads especially in the playoffs and opponents despite what they say slack off, no?

star out factor also goes into consideration no doubt

2011: 3-0 for Miami Playoffss 2012: 3-1 for Miami Playoffs 2013: 4-1 for Miami Playoffs 2014: 2-3 against Miami Playoffs 2015: 2-0 so far for Cavs Playoffs
Let's check Foster playoff history when Lebron was in Cleveland.
2009: Did not ref any Cavs games. 2008: 1-0 for Cavs 2007: 1-1 2006: Did not ref any Cavs games.
I won't go back any further as it's evident the league did have Lebron as part of their agenda in his earlier years.
So since 2006 Foster reffing Lebron games is: Lebron is 16-6, 2-0 so far this playoffs.

Let's have a look @ Foster's history w/ Lebron:
2011: 3-0 for Miami Playoffss 2012: 3-1 for Miami Playoffs 2013: 4-1 for Miami Playoffs 2014: 2-3 against Miami Playoffs 2015: 2-0 so far for Cavs Playoffs

You state above Lebron is 14-5 in games reffed by Foster since 2011. But he is also 71-31 overall in the playoffs during that same stretch. So in reality Foster is the average. James has won 69.6% of his playoff games since 2011 and games reffed by Foster are only 73.6%.
If Lebron loses tonight, Foster reffed playoff games go to 70% which is absolutely not out of the ordinary. Don't see any edge here.
