The game has changed a LOT. Those are the 3 most recent. Only one of them won while the Bears and Ravens had remarkable defenses.

Who said anything about not trying? I'm saying that Tebow isn't the answer. He may get you to the playoffs...but he won't get you anywhere else. The defense will actually lead them to the playoffs. And with a solid defense...give them a good QB and they're a top team.
As for the Chargers being on my "team to beat list". I backtracked after I said that because they really aren't a good team. Another road win was impressive, though. And for that...I give the defense and McGehee a lot of credit.
And I am giving the Broncos credit. McGehee is having a great comeback season and the defense has been solid.

You're not understanding my point in the arguement. I'm not saying that any scrub can beat the teams he has beaten.
Yes...he IS in the NFL. And he was a first round draft pick, which means he's on the same level as everyone in the NFL and should be graded on that scale instead of given the whole "what this guy is doing given his situation is remarkable". As if his "situation" is awful. He's on a good team. He's in a GOOD SITUATION.

First off...that was against Tom Brady and the Patriots.
Second...give the Eagles Denver's defense and the game is closer.
We can't comparing losing QBs who put up great numbers and lose to Tebow putting up horrible numbers and win if we can't add the rest of the factors. Just like I said when someone did that comparison with Cam Newton. Give Tebow Carolina's defense he would be 1-6. He doesn't have the tools to keep his team in the game unless the defense holds them to a respectable number.

Okay this is seriously my last post in this thread (unless u respond to this post Sparky) in this thread until next week when the Broncos beat the Vikings 21-17..
Tim Tebow does things for his team that you completly ignore and push aside.
1 - Game management - One of the reasons the Broncos defense is playing so well is Tebow does not turn the ball over. It is tough for Nfl teams to drive the length of the field vs a good defense, which the Broncos are. By Tebow not turning it over and chewing up clock on offense, this definitely helps the defense and you can't possibly argue that.
2 - Yes Willis McGahee is having a great year but some of that can also be credited to Tebow. The defense always has in the back of their mind that Tebow can break a huge run at anytime, thus taking some of the focus off the back. Also when Tebow runs the option he softens the outside because he can pull it down and run at anytime. Thats why Mcgahee is able to break solid runs up the middle.
You said it yourself the game is changing ALOT and might be changing even more. You brush off Tebows 5-1 record saying it was against bad teams and only because the defense and Mcgahee are playing great. He affects more of the game then u give give him credit for

The defense has allowed 20 ppg since he took over. They allowed 28 ppg before and faced tougher opponents.
And I'm not doubting his leadership.

Having a solid defense is always a good situation. Put him on the Panthers and he's in a BAD situation.

And who cares if his coach/organization doesn't have faith in him. That would only matter if they DIDN'T change their entire offensive scheme to fit him.
Another thing that makes his situation good is the fact that they threw out the old playbook and are basically telling him to take the ball and do whatever you feel like.

Agreed. He is taking the stance that unless Tebow wins a SB he is a bad QB
Dan Marino never won a superbowl
I'm telling you I noticed this at post like 75, Sparky won't admit he is wrong not matter what.
Its cool, I have friends like this in real life, no matter how backed into a corner they are, they WONT admit they are wrong.
I'm just glad i'm not that kind of person, it is sad how these people view the world.

The only reason I'm "backed into a corner" is because so many people love Tebow.
And how am I wrong, exactly? The best team Tebow faced was the Lions and he lost. If he loses to the Bears and Patriots and is 0-3 against good teams...how would that make me wrong?
But as I've been saying...I'm in the type of situation where I can't be wrong until he faces good teams. So, in 3 weeks, we'll see if I'm right or wrong. And he only has to lose to one of the Bears/Patriots for me to be right.

And you're comparing quaterbacks who have played in the SUPERBOWL to Tim Tebow who has a handful of starts.

All of you are asking me when I will "admit that I'm wrong".
Well...my case is that he won't be able to beat good teams. So when are all of you sheep going to admit that YOU are wrong? Or, when he loses to good teams and starts a full season next year and isn't having the same success, will you just say "well, I was talking about his first 6 starts of the 2011-12 season"?

That game was a joke and we all know that. At this point in his career Tim Tebow is not a straight drop back passer, that is OBVIOUS.
I put that loss squarely on the coaches shoulder. 100%.
A coach's job is to put his players in the best situation to win, John Fox definitely DID NOT do that.
Since then they adapted the Option like offense to fit his streangth, how has that worked? 5-0 and counting.
