Shanahan is full of crap! Fields +600 to go third!

That will be the end of the Niners for another decade. Shanahan, if he makes such a stupid decision, will not be a head coach again. The Niners will have consecutive losing seasons and then get a new coach. It would be the height of hubris for him to make such a risky choice. It will not end well. 

Jeff Garcia today gave a great interview on a local station. He said it would be a big mistake to trade Jimmy G and not groom the QB the Niners are selecting. If this team is ready to make run at the SB, which he thinks they are, what rookie QB has led a team to the SB? Not many, if any. His point being, don’t squander the season. Let Jimmy G start and then bring in a dynamic QB, like Fields or Lance. In situational spots, to not only give them experience but to make your team more dynamic and unpredictable. Drafting Jones does none of those things, accustomed Garcia. He is basically a clone of Jimmy G, maybe more accurate, but with less expensive.

Jalen Hurtz is somehow the best Alabama QB ever drafted and he spent his last college season in Norman. Hmmmmmmmm.

Wait until this immobile statute takes a couple of hits. Jimmy G was pretty good, until he started getting knocked down.

From my recollection, Joe Namath and Bart Starr were the best quarterbacks ever drafted from Alabama. They won a few super bowls. Now Tag is the best, lately. Next up, Mac Jones.  HMMMMMMM

I don’t understand. They have the draft up but it’s extremely limited. They only have a few selections. And the amount you can bet also has strict limits.

 Yes, so for example you can bet if a player goes round 4.5 O/U. You can also wager how many defensive,OL,WR, etc go in round 1. I am not seeing a wager to place if a player goes for example the 1st,2nd,3rd pick. Unless I’m missing something.

Under their NFL draft section they only offer bets on who will be selected first, second, and third in the draft. They have only four choices for each draft position. After that, they have a few more offerings regarding which running back, receiver, etc will be selected first. But you have to login to your account to see these choices. You can’t access them or see all of them without an account.

Sure. No problem. I will concede that Niners might draft Lance. The odds on him have dropped a lot since last night when he was at
+ 275. He is now +115 on Betonline. I sprinkled a bit on him to hedge my Fields bet last night. I also still think the BYU kid falling in the Niners lap is a possibility. Odds on him have also dropped. If it ends up being Jones I’ll have to eat some humble pie. But I don’t think it will be him. Too easy.

 Agreed, I think the first 2 picks are set. Weird that the Niners are keeping this pick solely between Lynch and Kyle. Makes me think they’ll go with Lance. He does fit the bill, although Fields is not out of the question. I do think they pass on Mac, IMO. 

What do you think about 1st defensive player picked? It seems almost Surtain (see what I did there ) he goes first. Even with all the talk of the Eagles trying to draft down before my cowboys to grab a CB. Rarely like to pay juice but -142 seems like a given. BOL on any draft wagers BB. 

Trey Lance going #3 to SF

The line movement suggests this is what’s going to happen. I thought Fields was more likely because of Fields’ experience. But they are shooting for the moon. Either way, this is what’s going to happen:

49ers are keeping Jimmy because they will deploy two quarterbacks next year, like the Saints did the past couple of years with Hill, to flummox defenses. They are going for the championship next year with Jimmy as the starter and a dynamic, running QB as his back up. The kid will be groomed but also get valuable playing time/opportunities and is there as insurance if Jimmy gets hurt again. If I’m right, then there is no way they are drafting Jones, who brings nothing new to the table except a little more accuracy and better footwork. 

I have been so focused on the Niners that I have not paid attention to much else. But makes sense.
