haha 'watch both stlouis vs seattle games last year'. WE DID. we remember the nfl apologizing and saying they should have reviewed the play and screwed up. nick foles haha. can't wait to rip on you all year
It is very childish to take it personally just because some complete stranger picks against your favorite team.Although, if you are going to disagree, at least add something of value to your post. Do you have any insight of your own? Thus far, you are nothing more than wasted space within this thread.
This bozo adds nothing to any post. Sounds like a 14 year old punk kid...

it WILL be a long day for russ wilson... on offense. "if he finds time to throw" haha. he could find time to knit a sweater out there. all he does is find time. "shame they werent swept' bahahah. if not for a NFL screw up it would have been a sweep for seattle. good run on sentences and terrible copy/pasting though!
Your multiple replies in this thread continue to be based solely on one botched-call play. While you're calling people 'morons' and pretending to laugh, you might want to stop and think about the fact that if a game's outcome hinged on one call, the Seahawks aren't dominating this scenario as much as you think are.
You're the biggest idiot in this thread, and it's entirely appropriate the OP hasn't even bothered replying to you. I, and the others, though, will let you know you're a fkn idiot.
And you look forward to ripping on a guy 'all year' because of this? Way to let us all know how full your life actually is

Awesome job with the write ups suuma. wouldn't expect anything less after your stellar season last year. Lev Bell is such a huge part of that offense too ... i dont have the stat in front of me but I believe he got the ball in over 50 percent of the steelers plays last season.
Good luck this season pal

I appreciate any capper taking time to write-up thoughts on games, so for that I thank you. As a diehard Hawks fan I am happy we get the road game in St. Louis out of the way week 1 since their offense will not be fine tuned the first week of the season. Seattle's O-line has been bad for 3 yrs, and they are still the best in the league over that time. Foles is not gonna throw the ball all over the field against the seahawks. And Tre mason isnt gonna run wild against any defense. Russell will have to deal with that d- line, but I dont see the rams offense putting up 20 points against Seattle here. One thing Russell doesn't do is turn the ball over under pressure. There are several better plays this week on the board in my opinion. This game could go either way. Dont sleep on that Seahawk D-line. One thing Foles can't do is run for his life, I could see him getting sacked several times in this game.
I just wanted to add another opinion on the Rams/Hawks game. I am with you on NE and also Cin. The raiders and Carr have to prove it to me before I can consider them heading in the right direction.

That's good stuff. Good lines you got, too. Agree with all plays. Pittsburgh's defense will get shredded. Edelman catches everything and no answer for Gronk. Blunt should earn some yards setting up the play-action nicely.
I suppose he may very well do that for the other 15 games that he'll actually be playing in.

Very good write-ups, and while we aren't on the same side on ALL of them, we are thinking similar things on all of them. For example, I like the Seahawks -3, but your reasoning is solid for taking the Rams, therefore making it a non-play for me. I will instead ride with U 41, because I too believe Wilson will be running for his life.
On the Cowboys/Giants matchup, two surprise cuts that should be noted: Ben Gardner (Cowboys have looked incredibly deep on D Line, making Gardner the odd man out, mostly because his short arms were making it hard for him to disengage blocks) and Stevie Brown were both cut from these match ups. However, that was about as solid of a writeup as I can imagine most don't even know who these players were.
Good luck Suuma!
I've read those news after doing the write-ups. The safety change doesn't bother me as I believe Craig Dahl has been nothing more than average and he has started one game over the last two seasons.
I wish you a good start into the season

Dude I like all these. Common perception is that the Rams have a terrible offensive line(they do) but nobody is talking about the garbage that Pete Carroll put in front of Wilson. I did a blog on the 5 worst position groups in the NFL on my site awhile back and the Seahawks offensive line was one of them. Russell is going to be running for his life. Jenkins and Johnson are both in contract years for the Rams and they came in to camp in incredible shape. I would argue that the Rams offensive line actually has twice the talent that the Seahawks does. At least the Rams tried to address the issue.
The Cowboys certainly have enough pass rushers even with the suspensions to get to Eli behind a leaky o-line, and they better, because they have no one capable of covering the Giants WR's. That is the only advantage the Giants have in this game in my opinion.
The Giants secondary is in shambles after training camp and their linebackers are terrible. Even with JPP and his 8 fingers I think the Cowboys will score as many points as they want to in this game.
Good stuff and good luck!
Exactly. Many people are underestimating the Cowboys' pass rush. The only way the Giants can be successful is by exploiting the Cowboys' weakness at safety but Eli will need time to do that and he won't have much time. Victor Cruz was still sidelined yesterday.
Good luck to you as well

great write ups my man! However what about Steelers WR Markus Wheaton? I think he may be a future stud and could be in for a big game in Bryant's absence. Just a thought as I didn't see anything about him in your analysis. Great stuff though bro good luck this year.
The reason I've let him out is that I don't believe he can be a key in this game. I don't believe he can be their deep threat to cause space for Antonio Brown.
Thanks buddy, good luck this week

Thanks for your opinion. I made a strong case for Russell Wilson in a thread during this off-season. I believe he is the ideal QB for the Seahawks and his PA ability made the Seahawks a SB contender. Peyton Manning wouldn't have made it to any SB behind this o-line because he would have been in the hospital after the first game.
The fact that you already know because you watched the game: the Seahawks were pumped up and needed a win against the Rams in wk 17 to get home field advantage and the Rams' defense just dominated them, holding them to 6 points through three quarters. The Rams were on pace to get a 9-6 lead before Shaun Hill turned the ball over stupidly. He wanted to throw the ball away. The Seahawks started at midfield and were yet again facing a three and out before Jenoris Jenkins blew the coverage on Kevin Norwood, breaking inside without a reason. The second TD was an interception return after Kendricks already caught the ball. The Seahawks were nowhere near of being able to beat the Rams by themselves and this time the Rams have a much better matchup.
I am also not so high on the Seahawks defense as other people. Still one of the best in the league but I think the media has been overestimating them in the second half of the last season. They played Sanchez, Kaepernick twice, Shaun Hill, Logan Thomas and Ryan Lindley. While their first string d-line should be good to go, I am still missing the depth and their secondary is likely going to struggle at times with Cary Williams and DeShawn Shead starting instead of Byron Maxwell and Kam Chancellor. They are likely going to get better when the season goes on.
I also believe Foles gets sacked and I am not saying Tre Mason is going to run wild. He doesn't have to. They just need to get respect by an effective running game and screens here and there to set up play action. Remember, the Rams made it inside the Seahawks' 25-yd line three times with Shaun Hill.

He is a beast. This offense is significantly worse without him. His impact on the passing game is outstanding
To you as well

Do u have an angle on the bears-packers game beside the look ahead spot for gb?
Notice you have not included this game when u posted when it was +4, now its +6.5.
Thanks n All The Best this Season!!!
I will not touch this game with the current untransparent injury situation. Much better games on the board. I would have leaned Chicago with a healthy receiving corps though. Sometimes we just have to know when to fold and this time it's the Bears game for me
Have a good start

Good luck this year suuma. Hope you expand on last years strong performance. Love the New England pick. Remember what happened last time they were accused of cheating. They kicked everybodies azz.
