Suuma,great no expertly written write ups.I spent the last 40 years coaching high school in football crazy alabama.Taught social studies.Made 1st bet in 74 Gator Bowl taking Auburn +6 over the Earl Campball led Texas Longhorns.Auburn won strait up and been betting football ever since.College and pro.Long before the internet or ESPN and all else thats out there today.I graduated from Auburn and took my first job as a wide reciever ad secondary coach in a small town in south Alabama.All rookie coaches seem to start there unless they played the line in college.I coached the OL for 7 years during late 80s and early 90s and again by default in earl 2000s.It took a lot of learning,clinics,reading,and so many OL camps.dont remember them all.It is by far the most difficult coaching job on the field.It takes a special kind of kid to play it,take pride in it,jell as a unit.You dont grow up in back yard blocking people.When i switched to defense and became a LB coach i worked at some larger schools where you didnt have to play kids both ways and soon became a DC where i spent 15 years putting some very nasty defenses on the field.Those teams played in 33 playoff games,3 state championship ames.My philosophy which served me well was to attack the offensive line.I knew if they were not coached up that team was in for a long nite.Seen it all grom the power run days to the wide open spread teams that dominate football in high school and college today.That principle still works though.Get after the OL.Read a lot of post on this forum and have never read any as detailed orientated toward cappin the fronts as yours are.Its refreshing and kudos to you sir.Bettin wise,as many others have won some great bets but also as many lost many in every way possible,especially the NFL.I like your approch as it pays no attention to stats ,trends,all the blah blah bs such as earlier post about Detroit being 0-5 which as you noted means nothing.For last decade or so i have talied Wayne Root a lot and as you may know he just fades most everyone ,public and touts.He once said you can know every stat possible in pro and college sports that are lined and you will get your eyes beat out of your head.I have found a lot of truth in that.Last nites Mich St.and LSU games are good examples.A write up can make all kinds of points and be dead wrong.You take a different approach and i like it.As i sit here and watch Washington take it to Miami (at present anyway)and know my local said everybodys on Miami ,,Roots philosphy pops in my head and looking at his plays you know who hes on,,Washington.And the Bears,Buffalo,St.Louis and New Orleans.Whats a guy to do??You are definitely coming at this from a great ,in my opinion only,way to really cap a game but Root has a point and he hangs around 60%.Thanx for your work.Its refreshing to read post containing info that really matters.No OL your not gonna get it done.Same with front seven.Thats my two cents.Appreciate your work.Best i've seen.Best wishes for a great year.Bondsman

The Chiefs defense has actually set up for 14 easy points. As well as giving the Chiefs offense good field position. The Texans defense hasn't played to well but all those points has a lot to do with how bad the Texans offense has been.

I’ve seen many respected cappers on the Raiders, but I can’t find out how they will be able to match up with one of the best-built teams in week one. Green and Mohamed Sanu, nor do they have a strong weakside on the LB corps to not let Tyler Eifert create mismatches. Their three CBs don’t have much of an experience and are learning a new system this year. SS Charles Woodson is 36 and FS Nate Allen can’t be seen as the playmaker IMO. Dalton will have time, Jones and Green will have space. Their favorable running game should be enough to convert short downs. Hue Jackson will call play to expose this secondary. The Bengals should be able to score at will and I expect a booming first half.

What do the Raiders bring to the table offensively? A very solid offensive line that took a little blow in Watson getting hurt and a young explosive WR in Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree. But the QB is still Derek Carr. Here is a quote of the site Football Perspective: “Take away the 102 worst pass plays of Derek Carr’s 2014 season and he’s nearly average”. The Bengals will have an improved pass rush with DE Michael Johnson back and Derek Carr will be throwing into a good coverage. This defense is a top-10 unit with a lot of depth. I give Leon Hall and Dre Kirkpatrick the edge over 60 minutes and see Derek Carr struggling to move the ball effectively. Will LB rookie Paul Dawson has shown flashes of being one of the most instinctive LBs in the league that’s why I don’t see the Raiders moving the ball on the ground. The Bengals have enough skill on their secondary to play man coverage to send an extra defender into the box. Bottom line this is a very favorable matchup for the Bengals whom I expect to have such a significant lead by the beginning of the fourth quarter to give AJ McCarron some playing time.
