I eeked out tonight with a Rockets cover, but that's without a doubt the absolute LAST time I bet against Kobe. I personally think the Lakers suck, and I doubt I'll ever trust them enough to cover a spread. My God, though. He is an absolute man and literally scored whenever he wanted to. Watching him put on that spectacle was absolutely terrifying.
Not worth betting against any man that can do that to me.

Ive never had a problem with you, but you never show up when the Lakers cover
I bump this thread (along with the Lamar Odom injury thread) after just about every game so I dont know what you are talking about. But when a team has only covered 10 out of their last 36, what do you expect?
I know Kobe Bryant is your favorite player but the proof is in the pudding my friend.

Thoough Odom did have a great game as well tonight, very balanced in both offense and on D
Just a shame he couldn't nail both those FT's to bury the Rox
It's also a shame one player took more than half of his teams shots. That is the most impressive thing I think I've seen Bryant do this season.
The sad thing about this thread is, that guys are so in love with Bryant that they are missing all of these opportunities to FADE his scoring binge (which is destroying team chemistry) to make money. I just dont understand it. Oh well, more money for the other guys out there to get.

So its kobes fault that Kwame missed 2 free throws and he had to hit a miraculous shot to send it to ot? Or that kobe was the one who guarded tmac who missed the shot to win it in regulation. Quit bein a boxscore critic

LOL... Box score critic. Im probably one of the only in the forum that actually watches games.
Not my fault your MVP thought he was playing hop scotch and almost shit his pants when Van Blundy brought the double team with Yao. Not my fault that Bryant fouled McGrady on a 3 point attempt and completely imploded in overtime (which he normally does at the end of games)
And if you watched the end of regulation, McGrady was dead tired on that shot, waited way too late into the game clock, and was basically playing for OT in my opinion. Or as you guys around covers say, McGrady must've had to Over.

Will the Lakers counter tonight by playing TEAM basketball (which produces comfortable leads and wins?) or will they continue to play ME basketball and continue to keep games so close than a spread other than (pk) is a virtual lock for them not to cover?
LOL... It never fails. 14 shots and ball distribution = EASY victory. The Lakers are the easiest team to peg in the NBA. Maybe one day people will catch on.
Whoever bumped this thread, thanks for the bump. I forgot all about this game with the NCAA Final coming up tomorrow. But Im glad you bumped it so I could be proven right once again.

Actually I havent played on any of these games during the "FADE train" however, even if I did play on the game tonight I'd still be 6-2 in the last 8. That sure is hurting my pockets. But I'm 100% sure you will claim you had the Lakers' tonight because that's just how much of a phony you are.
On a funnier note, Lakers' fans are so happy for an against the spread victory and being 11-24-2 in their last 37 Im sure they'll be popping champagne all night.

Finally the Fakers win in a blow out fashion. I didn't think we'd see one this season. But then again it was against the Queens. The same Queens that lost to the Clippers at home.

Like I said above, if the Lakers distribute the ball and run the triangle offense without one guy trying to take all of the shots they'll actually beat people handidly. Now that I think about it, the Lakers would have been the play tonight based on the sole fact Phil Jackson probably ripped Bryant a new asshole after he took more shots than the whole team against Houston . But the only basketball I'm thinking about right now is the NCAA final tomorrow.
If he keeps this up, the FADE train will be back in the station. Atleast for a few games until he reverts back to Sir Jack-a-lot.

You know what, I know get Hustles hate for Kobe! He equates Kobe's talent to his ability to cover games! Ahhhhh, now I get it. Its clear as day. KObe is only as good as his team covering. Makes complete sense then.
