Police Departments have been weakened by progressives Now all of a sudden progressives are crying that there weren’t 10 alpha male navy seal like officers ready throw their lives in the barrel to charge in and save the kids and show off their (“toxic”) masculinity
Cops love to put on tactical gear and play infantry, don't they. Is it not their job to risk their lives to save children? Have progressives weakened the police department in Uvalde?

Yes, there is. And frankly, I love gun shows. Baby steps though. Even gun shows are more stringent than they were 5, 10, 20 years ago. Most private sellers now file proper paperwork whereas you use to just walk in and buy a gun.
However, the background checks would hamper an attack like what we saw in Uvalde while still maintenance the status quo for law abiding citizens. I don't want magazine limitations. I don't want limitations on what kind of weapons I can own. However, I am all for more stringent background checks.

The one good teacher I had owned his own business, sold his business and taught as a way of giving back. Talk to your average teacher and then to a successful business owner. There’s a glaring difference. If you’ve never done anything successful in your entire life WTF are you doing teaching? You should need to show bank statements in order to be a teacher.
If only, brother. If only. How many successful businessmen are lining up to sell their businesses to become teachers as a way of giving back? Is some guy who owns a flooring business going to teach high school Calculus?

Average teacher makes $58,000 in Uvalde. Median household income in Uvalde is $41,000. They’re basically rich. Fuck teachers and their unions. They’re a drain on tax payers and nearly every municipality’s budget. I think I had one decent teacher and I went to private schools in Massachusetts. Judging by most of the posts here it’s easy to see that your teachers all sucked too.
58,000 against a 41,000 median household income? Basically rich my ass. Even against a median household income of 41,000, and a relatively low cost of living, they are getting paid dogsheet.

@BWS77 He actually gave away tons of info about his upbringing in that post. Which you can kinda see lines up with his viewpoints/opinions Private schools means he was raised in a fairly well-off house hold, potentially rich house hold. And you can draw tons more from the post but we don't need to go to far into detail
Coupled with the fact that he thinks elementary school teachers in Uvalde, Texas make six figures in salary and drive their Audis to school every day. Truly shows how out of touch this clown is with reality. We all knew he is off his Detox Meds, but geezus. Troubling to say the least.

Who do you think is stopping a bad guy, in an active shooter situation, with a gun? An unarmed drama club pedophile waving a wig? Please tell me who you think is going to stop an active shooter without a gun.
Who stopped this active shooter? Who stopped the recent shooter in Southern Cal? How many active shooters are actually stopped by good guys with guns?
On one hand we hear, "The only thing that can a bad guy with a gun in a good guy with a gun."
Then we have several good guys with guns and we hear, "What, you want guys charging in there like Navy Seals?"

Cops shoot unarmed people in the grips of a mental health crisis and we're supposed to look the other way because, "...the job is so dangerous."
Cops faced with an actual armed assailant, targeting children and it's, "What, you want them charging in like Navy Seals?"
They wear tactical gear like they're playing make believe. When I was a kid, in the 80's and early 90's, the streets were a lot more dangerous and cops wore standard uniforms and carried revolvers. Then they started carrying Beretta 92's and some other semi-auto pistols, which was necessary. Now days they play dress up like they are special ops. Ask them to save children from an active shooter though...
I respect the cops that went in there and took fire. That is the job you sign up for.

Defending the police is never the answer but look up.the budget of any municipality and see what chuck of the pie goes to law enforcement. The police are funded. Even in hardcore liberal hotbeds that push a second the police narrative. Police are funded.

Are you high again this morning Detox Meds?
So the police's job is not to "serve and protect"?
what the $uck kind of drugs you on today?
So what were those dead children supposed to do to protect themselves if it's not the police' job? Throw textbooks at the active shooter?
I suppose you want 6-10 year olds toting assault rifles at school since it's not the police' job to protect them?
Sounds like you suffer from some of the mental health challenges you speak of.

Originally his parents put him in public school, but the teachers couldn't get him to stop cowering in the corner crying.

No, he wants teachers armed and risking their lives to protect children because they're "basically rich" because they're making, on average, 58K against a 41K median household income.
Or he wants armed guards so that elementary schools resemble prisons, even though armed police officers sure dropped the ball. Maybe these armed guards will be better trained than the police. How much are we paying these armed guards? How much do cops make in Uvalde? I bet more than teachers.
I agree with a ton of what Tox says. He's still my bro but we just disagree on this subject.

Maybe he's Catholic and simply went to Catholic schools. Who knows. I'm not here to throw shade at Tox's upbringing. Like him or not, he often makes very valid points. Sometimes his opinions miss the mark. Sometimes he is just stirring the shit and pushing buttons. I'm not here to throw shade at the guy. We agree on a ton of things. We disagree on things too. We disagree here.

Police Departments have been weakened by progressives Now all of a sudden progressives are crying that there weren’t 10 alpha male navy seal like officers ready throw their lives in the barrel to charge in and save the kids and show off their (“toxic”) masculinity
If that is your belief then I agree with your selected username, and you definitely need a detox
