Now US is in a better position in 2021.

Vaccines are highly safe and effective but not 100% perfect.  0.003% of fully vaccinated people experience breakthrough infections, but they tend to have no or mild symptoms.  Despite high vaccine coverage, most covid deaths occur in senior population which is more vulnerable because of weaker immune system.  However vaccinated seniors are far less likely to die or be hospitalized than unvaccinated seniors. 

Bad news for the people of La County. They will have to wear masks indoors even if vaccinated! While having dinner at a restaurant you must put your mask on between swallows of Miller Lite and after taking a bite of your $40 burger! Insanity!

It's a choice of indoor masking or ventilator in an ICU, the answer appears apparently.

Eventually, it comes down to the choice of protection through vaccination, or unvaccinated and infected with the Covid. Regardless, there might be some 20-30% never vaxxers in this country.  

Fallacy to claim higher rates of covid infections, deaths and hospitalizations among the vaccinated.  The more vaccinated a population, the more we hear of cases, deaths and hospitalizations from the vaccinated.  For example if population is 100% vaccinated, 100% of cases, deaths and hospitalizations would be from the vaccinated. 

In Israel and UK, vaccinated populations are far larger than unvaccinated populations.  Although rare, most covid deaths and hospitalizations are expected among the vaccinated.   In both countries, weekly hospital admissions are a tiny fraction of their peaks in January.  Also number of covid deaths are far lower now.  Actually, Israel and UK provide evidences for effectiveness of vaccines.

Show me the numbers. UK reported yesterday 60% of hospitalizations are unvaxed, so the 40%, vaxed. 54.2% of the population vaxed so you would hypothetically expect 45.8% unvaxed hospitalized and 54.2% vaxed hospitalized IF vaccine did nothing AT ALL. You gain 14% with vaccination, that's all according to these numbers. Do the math!!!

I'm not anti vaccine, I'm anti-bullchit!!!! The vaccine does help. With older variants really helps. Not so much with Delta. The numbers are coming in from overseas and they're not good. To repeat 99,now 97% success is just fooling people. For college football leagues telling their athletes if most are vaccinated, no testing or masks, is bullchit. The dems from Texas just proved that. 

Vaccines do help, there are side effects for some. That data is not given out. A Saginaw county Michigan boy just died in his sleep a couple of days after shot #2. Autopsy has been done, will not be released!! It happens, people have concerns. They are shamed rather than given factual information. Large cities like Detroit and St Louis are far behind in vax rates. (30's%) They have population densities of 4000 or more people per square mile yet rural counties with population densities of less than 50 per square mile are singled out daily. You know why. These large cities are superspreaders waiting to happen. When it does, white supremacy caused it. LOL

Exactly, even with 58% of efficacy with two doses of vaccines beats unvaccinated portion, 42%. Let alone many other science sources indicate 97%+ efficacy of two doses against death.
