Sounds like the CDC knows who's more at risk. Why doesn't the media warn these target groups?

Most of the target groups were first to get the vaccine. But I see the Delta as a game changer.
Today Fauci said this to the Senate;"The sobering news that you've already heard of is the fact that we are now challenged with a very difficult and problematic variant referred to as the Delta variant," Fauci said. "The fact is that, however... is that our vaccines... are very effective against this variant."
The bulk of the UK's vaccination program has been made up of the AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines.
Here in the U.S. it's Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson. J&J been getting some bad press.
Pfizer is more effective than the AZ, 88% to 60%. Moderna is rated at 94%. The J&J is rated at 66%.
Both the UK and Israel are seeing much more breakthrough with the Delta variant. IMO, we will see it too in time. The dems from Texas seem to be proving that point as is now White House staff. Let's see if they publicly identify the variant they have. What vaccine did they receive????? Be nice to know!!!
AS of now, if and when I decide to vaccinate will be asking for the Moderna. 94% clinical rating.
IMO, much too early to be saying "very effective against the Delta". Vaccines help, no doubt, but the fact that 50 out of 117 that died in the UK from Delta were over 50 and had both shots is troubling to me. That was reported on June 28th. If you go back to June 1st when most of these dead folks first contracted the virus, 39% of the population was vaccinated in the UK. Hope it was the AZ vaccine that they got!!! Be nice to know!!!

Went looking myself, think I found your 85% in Bezo's Washington Post. They try to smear and dismiss Israel's info. They keep comparing numbers to the peak in January. Hell, I can take the most unvaxed state in the U.S. and compare their current numbers to January and come up roses. They accuse "anti-vaxers" as cherry picking! Damn, look at your own article!!! And instead of giving Israel's percent vaxed by population, they cherry pick adults in Israel are 85% vaxed.
And I'm not disputing the vaccines reduce some hospitalizations or seriousness of infections, what I do dispute is our CDC Director publicly saying "If your vaccinated you are safe from severe covid hospitalization or death, and your protected from the known variants including the delta variant currently circulating in this country" while vaxed people in the UK die and only 60% hospitalized are the unvaxed. She sees this data.
