    i don't vax why should I, I'll never vax how could I?

We lucky few UNVAXED have the blessed pure sap running through our veins and prostates and testes. Our blood, DNA and brain vessels are unmolested, clean and natural. Our blessed sap will run through our bodies like rivers through the mountains with purity, force and vigor. But make no mistake, you will be mocked, coerced, enticed, seduced -- all so that your blessed sap can be contaminated. Do not fall for it because their shilling will increase as they run out of time.

The vaccine is free. If you choose not to be vaccinated & you get the virus, you will be saddled the rest of your life with medical bills that are not free.

As a fellow American, I urge you to get the vaccine to protect yourself, your family & everyone else that crosses your path.

    peace

Center for disease control is right.  Breakthrough covid cases are rare among fully vaccinated people.  Out of over 159 million fully vaccinated Americans, only 5492 breakthrough cases lead to death or hospitalization.  Or rate of 0.0003% for severe illness.  Instead infected vaccinated people tend to experience no or mild symptoms. However vast majority of covid deaths and hospitalizations occur among unvaccinated population.

In UK, the 60% hospitalized come from 12% of population that is unvaccinated.  Whereas 40% hospitalized come from  88% of population that has received at least one vaccine dose.  UK has a higher proportion of vulnerable seniors than other nations.   As most of population becomes increasingly vaccinated, statistically inevitable that some vaccinated people become infected since vaccines are 95% effective.  This doesn't mean vaccines don't work.  Fact is vaccinated people are less likely to be hospitalized or die from coronavirus than unvaccinated people in the same age group.

"St. Vincent’s ICU and Naval Hospital Jacksonville ICU are full. All COVID patients are unvaccinated, middle aged and younger. Seeing more upper-respiratory symptoms, which are blowing up into respiratory failure and renal failure."

Now what was that you were saying Governor??????

I for one believe in the vaccination. The whole point which the ignorant  keep preaching and will never open up their tunnel vision thoughts is that I respect your choice not to get the vaccination. The closed-minded democrats on here do not respect your choice. That is the whole point which they ignore and always will. They have to have the government tell them when they can wipe their ass.

    @Snorkel

You're right. Enzyme has the right to decline the vaccine but it would be really fucked up if he got the virus & passed it along to someone he loves or cares about.

If he wants to expose himself that's on him. I got a problem with him exposing others if he gets it.

I encourage him like I did UINIMAN to get vaccinated.

Midnite- I also encourage him. Not the point. Where do we draw the line on the 1st amendment? Our opinion is our opinion, period. No one should cast a negative opinion on the one's who don't agree with our stance. That is what is happening on this forum. As I say , I agree with the vaccination, but will never pass judgement on the term used here "anti-vaxers." To me that simply shows ignorance to the highest level of the "WE ARE RIGHT BECAUSE GOVERNMENT SAYS SO" attitude. To believe everything government tells you is a FOOL'S path.

    With the numbers infected.

    The vaccines are not effective.

I am sure moderna and Pfizer are working on a booster series to supplement the uselessness of the current vaccines.

Johnson and Johnson is bunk . And now is lower than the 50npercent threshold.

Put this politely we are trying to catch insects with a fishing net when it comes to a mask and stopping an air one pathogen viral infection.

    Good sanitization is always welcome.

Covering your mouth when you cough or sneeze hand sanitizer when touching foreign surfaces.

But as for the science of masks as anything more than operational room theater is foolish and has nothing to do with science only complacency.

The opposite is true:  with the numbers vaccinated but *NOT* infected the  TRUMP-VACCINES are effective!

More to the point, the vaccines were:

    1) always anticipated to be less than 100% effective -- repeated often, and understood by those who actually listen, and

    2) were designed specifically to protect against severe illness and death, and only hoped to provide protection against transmissable infection per se.

Currrent research proves it is working in BOTH regards.

THEY NEVER SAID IT  WOULD BE 100% PERFECT!   (Note: J & J is mostly a failure, unfortunately)

Uh-huh.... So then all this PPE and/or hospital staff, nurses, and surgeons wearing masks and shields for any and ALL types of treatments and surgeries has been a phenominal waste for the past century....umm, because nature1970 says so, and all those scholarly scientists have no idea what they are talking about.....only some internet guy and a bottle of Jim Beam knows whats really what....

This bears repeating as often as is necessary:

Stupid people just fail to grasp this rather simple concept.

We have so called "freedom of speech" sure, but there are several notable restrictions to that in our society and if one doesn't like it then he/she is  *FREE* to leave.

Try yelling "I think there's a BOMB onboard!!" the next time you're on a crowded flight taxiing on to the runway and you'll soon see just how quickly your "freedom" is abruptly halted.

Everyone has a RIGHT to NOT  get vaccinated!!!

    I stand by that 100%

But, you do NOT have the right to infect others with a contagious diseasse that spreads by BREATHING if/when you get infected (a thing you may NEVER actually know if you have!)

I stand by that 100% too.

Vaccination is reasonable in a society where there is a contagious disease.  We do it for other diseases!!  The alternative is for the UNvaccinated "freedom lovers" to quarantine 24/7.

While your at it,  go ahead and take off all your clothing and head to the mall.

    Your body; your choice, right?!

See if "your community" agrees with YOUR freedom to choose....

As far as I understand it, it's illegal to drive without wearing a seatbelt in most if not all states -- and that particular law isn't even meant to provide protection to OTHER PEOPLE.  Yet it is a law.

True.  Since the TRUMP-ENABLED-contagious virus affects a disproportionate number of Americans who are NOT high on the income scale that likely means a very large proportion of them either have weak insurance or no insurance at all, and/or have high deductibles and co-pays even if they do!   And that's *IF* they survive!  The actual cost of *survival* may be more than many can afford and -- perhaps through no fault of their own -- leave many with exceptionally high and chronic stress levels and near destitution -- perhaps leading to crime just to afford the bills!

Without Obama-care this would even be much worse for many!

This is one of the BIGGEST FALSE STATEMENT made---"the unvaxed will harm others".

According to the CDC Director if your vaxed, your safe, PERIOD!!!!

Yet, there are now at least 7 infected in D.C. from vaxed people to vaxed people.

    HOW CAN THIS BE???????

32 out of 50 states allow no helmet while on a motorcycle. Would I go without one? NO. Yet it is a freedom of choice!

OK, according to "OUR WORLD IN DATA" 54.6% of the UK population is fully vaxed. 69.6% has had a least one dose.

YET, you continue to use "12% of the population", "88% of the population..."  THESE ARE ADULT ONLY NUMBERS.

Are you saying ONLY ADULTS ARE HOSPITALIZED????

IF SO, WHY MAKE STATEMENTS; "The myth is that coronavirus isn't a threat to young people."

YOU CAN'T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS!!!  THAT's MISINFORMATION!!!!

Rand has never said or blamed Fauci for the pandemic. Were did you come up with that ? Rand wants to know if Fauci funded a gain for function research. Period. fauci avoided the answer wether or not he did. I don't know, do you? He simply dodged the question, why? Fauci controls all the money, hence any scientist who goes against him will be cut off from any grant. As I said, I don't know either way but there seems to be a whole lotta scuttlebutt questioning his back and forth rhetoric. I like that he took up for himself and called out Paul,BUT, he still sidestepped the question.

The problem with the left is they think if they get vaxxed, they'll magically never get covid and they are free. It's a fallacy. If you have a problem with him exposing it because he didn't get the vax, you have a problem with people in general. The vax does not stop you from getting covid. It limits the symptoms but you can still get covid! If you're 24, eat healthy (half our country eats like shit, be real) exercise daily and actually take proper care of your physical self, you're far less likely (stats prove this) then someone who's 75, or someone who's obese to have sever symptoms. Go ask anyone who works in health care who are the ones that end up in the hospital. Media will never tell you this.  The problem with dems and liberals is that they want to control others over something they can't control, like climate change. People and what they use make up a small % of climate change, but the world keeps spinning, people can not change that. Maybe we have a population problem and a over population civilization problem and a waste problem. The truth is, the vax does not stop you from getting covid. But getting covid and fighting it off is the most effective way to fight the virus. Immune systems have been fighting viruses since the beginning of time.  Maybe the media needs to tell people to stop being so damn lazy, to stop eating shit food, to exercise daily, take care of their body so the hospitals don't have to deal with unhealthy people. The reason the US has so many cases/deaths, well, the US also has a obesity problem. But the media can't say that because they'll hurt peoples feelings. People need to hear the truth and the truth is, people are disgustingly fat. Go ask any other country what they think of Americans and I'd guess one of their top 5 responses are "they are over weight".

I totally agree with you!  peace_5

Now, from a slightly different perspective, I am saying that we accept this law for seatbelts (which I think is mandatory in almost every state, but at least extremely widespread law) even though that mandatory law actually only "helps protect" (there's no 100% guarantee) just that person.  Me wearing a seatbelt does not protect in any way 100's of other people.  Just me. And it's not perfect.  As you said it doesn't prevent collisions, and it doesn't prevent any and all injuries or death.  It really helps though.  And it is an accepted mandate, despite only helping the ONE person.

The trump-vaccines, (not J & J) otoh, not only "helps protect" the vaccinated person himself (there's no 100% guarantee here either) but also "helps protect"  THE ENTIRE FREAKIN' COMMUNITY!! - as you and Midnight1 and myself  and Europa and Kelly and DeezyAZ to name a few have been alluding to for months.

So here's the point:  trump-worshippers and rightwing media followers (its mostly them but not only) are not actively whining about mandates to wear a seatbelt (which restricts their freedom to NOT wear a seatbelt if they choose) They are accepting of this mandate - even though such a mandate really only serves to "help protect" ONE PERSON.

But they totally BALK at getting vaccinated with trump's vaccines - when vaccination would "help protect" them PLUS 100's of others, maybe thousands!!!  And it's not even a mandate, just an encouragement.  They WON'T accept this "encouragenment to help protect the entire community"  but they do accept seatbelt laws that affect only one person.

Their logic is just crazy stupid....

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Obesity_in_the_United_States

Dems wanting to keep people on food stamps and relying on the gov't is also helping fuel obesity. The media needs to inform people on how to eat healthy. But the problem is also fast food. People in American are lazy and rely too much on fast food. This past year should have woken people up to that fact and should have gotten people to cook healthy, at home. But when cities put fast food on every street corner, it makes people lazy. Being lazy weakens your immune system which effects your response to viruses greatly. It's all correlated but the media has people fixated on "Trump bad" or "go get vaxxed so everyone can get on with their lives". Fallacy. People need to get healthy. That right there will greatly reduce health care costs. I encourage readers to check out the wiki page and look at the graph on the right. OBESITY IS A MAJOR PROBLEM.

A 2007 study found that receiving food stamps long term (24 months) was associated with a 50% increased obesity rate among female adults.

Looking at the long-term consequences, overweight adolescents have a 70 percent chance of becoming overweight or obese adults, which increases to 80 percent if one or more parent is overweight or obese. In 2000, the total cost of obesity for children and adults in the United States was estimated to be US$117 billion (US$61 billion in direct medical costs). Given existing trends, this amount is projected to range from US$860.7-956.9 billion in healthcare costs by 2030.

    @fubah2

getting vaxxed does not help the person next to you. Like wearing a seat belt does not help the person in the other car. The seat belt protects you from more sever damage just like the vax prevents you from more sever damage. YOU CAN STILL GET COVID AFTER GETTING THE VAX! So stop telling other people how to live their lives! Dems want to control what's not controllable when they need to worry about themselves and not tell others how to live their lives!
