Most crowded events won't except a 72 hour result. As of now, most are requiring proof of vax or same day results.

Most crowded events won't except a 72 hour result. As of now, most are requiring proof of vax or same day results.

There was NEVER a promise that the trump-vaccines would protect against mutations!
Similarly, being vaccinated against Diptheria does not protect anyone from the measles. And if you have had the measles, your measles "anti-bodies" won't protect you from Diptheria, at all.

From January to July, under 1% of total covid cases, hospitalizations and deaths occur among over 4.5 million vaccinated people according to Michigan health department. Not 23% of cases, 28% of hospitalizations and 15% of deaths which represent only one month of incomplete data. 6 months of data are statistically more significant than any one month. Especially since numbers fluctuate widely from month to month.

Today in Florida we had 21,756 new cases & 901 deaths reported. It's not getting better. It's not going away.
Why? How? I thought this was a typo at first. I'm flabbergasted. I know it's be easy to say"vaccinations" but Florida isn't that far behind my two home states. And it'd be easy to say "mask mandates" but believe me, even in states with mask mandates, there are some establishments with some very loose policies. There has to be more to it. Is it the high average age in Florida? An overall unhealthy lifestyle of the populace, i.e. obesity, sedintary lifestyle, smoking, etc? Those are insane numbers.

Notice no summer surges, if you look at other northern states you see the same thing.
I believe it's indoor activity driving the surge. Down south, hot summer months, many inside with a/c on. Then in the north it starts Oct/Nov/Dec with cold temps and schooling (universities) forcing folks indoors. Then January it really explodes as extreme cold forces more indoors.
Expecting it to really take off this fall in the north. This southern surge a BIG WARNING SIGN. Delta much worse, numbers will be much higher.
