Last yr from Aug 1 to Aug 27 there were 4800 deaths in Florida, this year 3600.
There were 5056 deaths in Florida in all of July 2020, 5309 in all of August 2020.
There were 154,025 Florida cases in August 2020, already this month there are 568,314 cases in Florida.
The deaths are down per 1000 cases, but the cases are way up. The vaccines DO help and Delta is not as deadly but can kill and spreads like wildfire!

For those under 50, vaccinated are 10 times less likely to be hospitalized.
Another example of statistical illusion. Assume 2000 people, 80% efficacy vaccine and 2.5% infection rate. For 50% vaccination rate, there would be 25 unvaccinated infected and 5 vaccinated infected. For 90% vaccination rate, there would be 5 unvaccinated infected and 9 vaccinated infected. Despite 16 fewer infections, 35% unvaccinated infected are less than 65% vaccinated infected.
