A new report from the House Committee on Oversight and Reform — the main investigative body of the House of Representatives — found that the Trump administration undermined the country's COVID-19 pandemic response for political purposes.

New York has its first official breakdown of what share of people are hospitalized for COVID vs. how many are hospitalized with incidental COVID.

This distinction wasn’t allowed when Trump was President. It’s only allowed now in an attempt to protect Democrats and Joe Biden.

To avoid lockdowns the worser alternative, tests, masks and vaccine passports are ways to safely keep economy running and live with covid.  Rapid tests have proven useful where repeat testing in key areas are needed.  70-80% accuracy is not nothing.  Rapid tests have a long history in public health not just to detect diseases in individuals but to trace virus spread in communities.  For examples, flu, HIV and hepatitis.

 Please explain how a passport works? I mean, if you can acquire and pass covid AFTER BEING VAXXED, AND WITH BOOSTERS, why would anyone need a passport? To segregate people? To give an incentive to keep getting boosters otherwise you can't enter a business? A passport is also worthless if EVERYONE CAN GET AND PASS COVID.

It does seem that the vaccine increases protection from hospitalization or death. 

But you can still get it and pass it. 

So it should be a personal choice and not mandated. 

If you are vaccinated — why do you care if someone else is or is not? I know I don’t.

Supreme Court Justice.... WHOOPS, just a "minor" miscalculation 

CDC chief Dr. Rochelle Walensky on Sunday was forced to correct US Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor’s dramatically inflated claim that there are 100,000 pediatric COVID-19 hospitalizations.

In an interview with “Fox News Sunday,” Walensky was pressed to confirm that there are actually fewer than 3,500 kids with the virus in hospitals.

“Yeah,” Walensky replied, cutting down the justice’s wrong assertion Friday.

The scary part is, people still believe this is a pandemic of the unvaxxed. People still believe that if they are vaxxed they won't pass covid which is false and they've been mislead.  IMO this is a pandemic of the unhealthy and those in the higher risk categories which we've know from almost the start of this spread.  Those in the high risk should have been at the front of the line for the vax since the vax is showing to limit symptoms, however a vax and booster is not preventive. After that, anyone else who's worried about not being able to fight off the virus (that has over 99% recovery in the healthy) should take their shot(s). This should not be mandated on any level. If this should be mandated, then smoking should be illegal, fast food should only be allowed on occasion, exercise should be mandatory (like PE in school) for every adult and should be tracked with a passport.

This is why the public is terrified of this virus. Our leaders are misguiding everyone!

There's roughly 6,100 hospitals in the US. If the 100k were true, that's roughly 16 kids PER HOSPITAL! That's utterly insane to claim. How the hell is this lady a US Supreme Court Justice and who the hell appointed her when she spews utter nonsense?!

These 100,000 children who are in serious condition is worse than..................PERAL HARBOR!!!!!!  or       9/11 !!!!!!!!!!

First it was if you didn't get vaxed your liable to infect the vulnerable. Then it's watered down to you are taking up hospital space that cancer patients, etc., need. 480,000 people a year die from smoking, how much hospital space is that? 

I love the Iceland covid data site as it is straight forward. Only place I see this kind of info. About 1 in 1500 cases results in death in Iceland, their doing something right! ADULTS VACCINATED cases are surging skyward as are CHILDREN VACCINATED  and ADULTS BOOSTERED on Iceland data graphs. Hospitalizations are higher for the unvaxed and all are ticking up, including the bolstered.

Minnesota shows that 1/3 of deaths in last six months are the vaccinated. They avg 56% vaccinated during that time.  Seems like if you had four people who were certain to die if they contracted covid and you vaccinated two of them. If all four contracted the virus the two unvaxed would die and the two vaxed would flip a coin, one dies and one lives. That would be 1/3 of the deaths. Probably a little better odds for the vaccinated thinking the majority of those with obvious comorbidities would get vaxed. 

What needs to be done now is study those who have had Omicron and developed anti-bodies. These maybe the key to ending this virus. Plasma donated by those with anti- bodies maybe very important, IMO.

HAS TO BE THEIR IDEA!!

If I have a business open to the public, I'm not letting you enter my establishment unless you can prove you are vaccinated.

Both identification processes sound reasonable to me.

 Because I don't want my employees & vaccinated customers to come in contact with those willing to play Russian Roulette with their lives & the lives of others because they would not get vaccinated.

I fully understand that you can get covid even though you have been vaccinated. However, I believe we have more protection with the vaccine than without. I also believe that most in the hospital now with covid are unvaccinated.

My lawyers Dewey, Cheatem & Howe would handle all lawsuits brought against my establishment.
