“How many of the 836,000 deaths in the U.S. linked to Covid are from Covid or how many are with Covid but they had other co-morbidities. Do you have that breakdown?” anchor Bret Baier asked.
“Yes, of course, with Omicron we’re following that very carefully, our death registry takes a few weeks to collect and Omicron has been with us for just a few weeks but those data will be forthcoming,” Walensky replied.

Why are rapid tests sold at drug stores?
You know who buys rapid tests? People that think they have Covid because they have symptoms.
You know who spreads Covid? People that with Covid symptoms.
You know where old and fat people go to pick-up their medications? Drug stores.

I forgot to share something that you might enjoy.
You mentioned Matt Gaetz in another thread (which I can't find) & it reminded me that American Greed on CNBC has a decent episode on Joel Greenberg & how he came to power showing up with Gaetz & Trump in DC.
Greenberg is currently in jail awaiting sentencing in federal court next March. He is facing up to 12 years in prison after pleading guilty last May to six federal crimes, including sex trafficking of a child, identity theft, stalking, wire fraud and conspiracy to bribe a public official.
It got me thinking as to why our new AG & the DOJ haven't moved forward with charges on Gaetz They should either charge him or come out & say they came up empty IMO.

That's so funny, back in August I was feeling ill and having inner ear trouble/dizzyness. Thought maybe covid. Went to the Walgreens, grabbed a rapid test and as I was approaching the counter about an 90 year old lady with a walker is at the ATM right next to the counter. Man, I tried by best to distance myself from her! She turned around and started asking questions. Just stepped back and pointed to the clerk who helped her.
Thought the same damn thing! Should be available at the Pharm drive thru only.
I was negative.

In 2020, there is less known about the pandemic. People are influenced by their news sources. Democrats over estimate risk of hospitalization for unvaccinated people. But republicans under estimate risk of covid and over estimate risk of vaccines.

Midnight1 is right. Massachusetts governor says surge in hospitalizations is mostly driven by unvaccinated minority. Despite under 13% of adults unvaccinated, they comprise 55-75% of hospitalized covid cases according to Beckers hospital review. Massachusetts health department reveals 97% of breakthrough cases haven't resulted in hospitalizations.

we r dealing with second generation mutations now that the vaccine was not engineered for
