In 2020, there is less known about the pandemic. People are influenced by their news sources. Democrats over estimate risk of hospitalization for unvaccinated people. But republicans under estimate risk of covid and over estimate risk of vaccines.
It shouldn't be politically divided, but unfortunately over the past 5 years, that is what it has come to.

In senate, republican Romney defends doctor Fauci and labels Rand Paul's attacks as political. Apparent motives for Paul's attacks appear to be to score political points and to raise campaign donations. Sad that a national hero and family face unjustified death threats because people are lying about him. For decades, Fauci has saved countless lives worldwide. This is what the Senate should be asking and the FBI should be investigating.
DID FAUCI KNOW THE WUHAN INSTITUTE OF VIROLOGY HAD AWFUL SAFETY CONTROLS IN PLACE AND DID FAUCI CONTINUE TO FUND GAIN-OF-FUNCTION RESEARCH THERE AS PART OF A FAILED ATTEMPT TO CREATE A SARS VACCINE?
The answer is yes Fauci knew and yes Fauci continued to fund after knowing.
I would also like to see all of Fauci’s financial records and the financial records of the people close to him.

It’s not public what stocks and bonds Dr. Fauci bought and sold in 2020 or 2021, as he influenced Covid policies. It’s not public what Fauci received – or didn’t receive – in royalties. (There are up to 1,000 current and former NIH scientists receiving royalties.) Each payment could be a potential conflict of interest. Yes, all of this information resides with the National Institutes of Health (NIH), but isn’t “public knowledge,” despite Dr. Fauci’s claims otherwise in his sworn U.S. Senate testimony yesterday.

NIH admits it holds approximately 1,200 pages relating to Fauci’s financial information and conflict of interest disclosures.
There's a memo (to justify paying Fauci more than any of the other 4.3 million federal employees) from 2004 that revealed for the first time that Fauci was paid to prevent the next pandemic.
A person is paid more than any other federal employee (President, generals, etc) and his job is to prevent the next pandemic … a massive pandemic hits and people think he shouldn’t be questioned?

Why did he do that?
Does Fauci receive royalties? If so, from whom? Big pharma? Since 2005, NIH was supposed to post a database of all scientists receiving royalties on its website. However, the database doesn’t exist. Why doesn’t it exist?
It’s an understatement to say that Fauci’s disclosures are in the public interest. Yet he is constantly being protected by politicians and the government. Why?
