Not saying you didn't hear that while watching the news, saying I cannot find that story anywhere searching Google. 

One would think a tragedy like that would not be confined to one TV station and one broadcast.

DeSantis/Gabbard would be the dream ticket but I doubt she will leave the democrats and no doubt she wants top billing. 

The democrat party in the 1920s was riddled with corruption and bribery much like it is now in the 2020s...perhaps Gabbard has dreams of herself being the FDR of the 2030s...the present day demons in charge of the party will not give her a place to even discuss her views...as for now, she is a persona non grata.

Florida law has made school book bans easier.  So one man Stevens has filed petitions at 63 school districts to ban the bible according to Washington post.  The bible depicts bestiality, cannibalism, violence, rape, murder, racism, slavery, adultery and fornication.   Legal experts say his actions showcase flaws in Florida law.

You don't have to be a historian to know that people banning books are never the good guys.

Florida taxpayers have filed a lawsuit against government over unjustified revoking of Disney self governing district because of the risk of being liable for billions in debt.  DeSantis has wrongfully retaliated against Disney's constitutional right to free speech.  Everything he does is based on politics and theatrics.

The Florida state pension plan had 300 million invested in Russian companies & prior to the invasion the Governor was asked to diversify those funds. He has yet to do so causing a loss of $200,722,906.45 in the plan that Florida state employees will depend upon for their retirement.

In a swift reversal of Gov. Ron DeSantis’ bold political gambit, a Leon County Circuit Court judge on Wednesday threw out the new congressional map drawn by the governor and approved by legislators, ordering a new map drawn by a Harvard expert to be put in place.

Judge Layne Smith, in a ruling from the bench after a four-hour hearing, found DeSantis’ map unconstitutional under the Fair Districts Amendment of the Florida Constitution “because it diminishes the African Americans’ ability to select the representative of their choice.”

Smith, who served in the administration of former Gov. Rick Scott, was appointed to the county bench by Scott and later appointed to the circuit court by DeSantis. He said it would be up to lawmakers to decide if they want to enact a new map when the Legislature convenes for a week-long special session on May 23.

Since drawing of electoral maps is handled by state legislatures, this encourages lawmakers to draw maps to benefit their own party at the expense of minorities losing representation in government.  To solve this problem, lawmakers should be banned from map making.  Instead bipartisan independent commissions should do the job.

I am hoping that DeSantis is who he portrays himself to be...we are out of options at this point...if we even have a country in 2024. 

MSNBC reports that appeals court rules DeSantis social media law violates first amendment and illegally tries to push his viewpoints.  He attacks free speech while claiming the opposite.
