Took a lot of advanced planning for Trump to declassify the documents that FBI agents would later plant at his home.

They are tripping over their own lies.

Yeah, the Trump-appointed FBI director got a judge to approve a warrant which resulted in thousands of pages of classified material, two years after another investigation revealed Trump appointee Michael Flynn’s plans to help Saudi Arabia go nuclear. You know, the same thing that Flynn lied about. 

But yeah, lock Hillary up after Trump used his personal unencrypted cell phone for years and stole 15 boxes of nuke docs.  

Investigating Trump is risky but doing nothing is worse.  Justice department has no choice but to get a search warrant after Trump lawyer falsely claims to return all documents in June.  This is a risk to national security because documents aren't properly safeguarded against foreign enemies.  Experts reject Trump claims the documents are de-classified.  Warrant shows Trump is under investigation for removing or destroying documents, obstructing investigation and violating espionage act.

Politico poll shows more people approve FBI search rather than disapprove search at Trump home.  Especially among democrats and independents.  No evidence that FBI search is politically motivated as Trump supporters claim as they blindly rush to defend him.

His hand picked felt that this search was necessary to secure sensitive classified matetial.

When he found “probable cause” of a crime allowing FBI agents to search Trump’s private club for “top secret” and other classified documents, it was a pretty routine process — despite authorizing the unprecedented search of a former president’s residence.
