Watching Trump at these press conferences reminds me of visiting the Central Park Zoo as a kid and seeing the angry monkeys throwing their crap at visitors.

I have to laugh when I hear Republicans say the Democrats wanted Trump out of office immediately after being inaugurated. I don't know about other Democrats but I knew what a POS Trump was from my time growing up in NYC. I wanted him out ASAP so the damage he would create could be limited. Republicans are upset because this move is right out of their playbook.

Back in 2008 after seeing the crowd @ President O's inauguration Republicans soiled their britches. The night of the inauguration conservative lawmakers met at a DC steakhouse. Eric Cantor, Paul Ryan & Kevin McCarthy from the House had dinner with DeMint, Corker, Kyl & others. The guest speaker was Newt Gingrich. This was the inception of the GOP coordinated resistance to President O.

However to his credit, Bush spoke with reasonable right wing talking heads & invited Dennis Prager, Hugh Hewitt & Bill Bennett to the Oval Office. He didn't invite Limpballs or Hannity because he believed they were hopeless cases. Bush said "Look I asked you here for one reason. I want you to go easy on the new guy."

Great decision, Trump !  Announced today  to defund all U.S. money to the WHO.  Now, let's get that prick out of the head position at the WHO (which is inevitably the next step IMHO).

This group never totally received respect from the established elite Republicans in Congress. They were viewed as a pebble in the shoe of progress. However, they represented a large group of Americans living with societal insecurities watching immigrants getting equal pay for equal skills. The GOP always received their funding from affluent suburbanites while those with Tea Party beliefs got the crumbs. 

In steps President O & the splintered Republican Party had a common enemy. Trump rolls on to the scene with his birther bullshit and wallah....you have the

Trump’s decision to halt funding to the WHO is a craven piece of political chest thumping. The remedy for the WHO’s failures is greater American engagement, not American withdrawal. This will not punish China. It will weaken America’s oversight and possibly increase China’s clout. That's exactly want China wants.

Finally reporters are not allowing Trump to get away with bullshit answers during his nightly ego stroke. Every day he finds someone else to blame for his own inadequacies.

What took them so long......

Greater american engagement  ? That's laughable.   Through what means ?  We already pay a disproportionate amount to the corrupt WHO.  The answer is to defund this nonsense like Trump did.

And we are to fear about China's clout ?  Like they don't have clout and influence w the WHO already  ?  That's laughable!

Like I said in another thread, I choose to be inside the tent and know what is happening rather than being outside the tent wondering what is going on inside.

They didn't even wait for the inauguration balls to be over Midnight. The very minute Obama was declared the winner they all swore to "he gets NOTHING, nada zilch. We fight everything he does and every move he makes." I guess noone ever told the GOP "paybacks are a b*tch, and you have one coming." They are too freaking stupid and bull-headed to figure that out on their own, and will continue to act like it was a Democratic party strategy never before seen in American politics. Total hypocrisy.

In 2011 Republicans waited a week before planning against President O.

Boehner told Sean Hannity "this was not the time for compromise. We're going to do everything and I mean everything we can do to kill it, stop it, slow it down" referring to President O's policies.

McConnell told the National Journal "The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one term president."

Elections have consequences, right? Republicans are certainly not virgins when it comes to dirty politics either.

The very minute Donald Trump was declared the winner....Democrats did not and have not acceped the fact,that President Trump won fairly and is a legitimate president.

It's true many Republicans from the start wanted Obama's policies to fail....and they should have because his policies have been disastrous.

In 2012, the best you could come up with were Romney, Gingrich, Santorum & Rand Paul. Throw in Paul Ryan as the worst Speaker in modern history. He left with his tail between his legs.

In 2016, you ended up with Trump who is not only a disgrace but a disaster as well. Did you know he takes no responsibility at all???

Trump deserved to be impeached & if the GOP had any balls, witnesses would have shown that he should be removed from office.

We will just have to wait until January 2021 for SDNY to prove his guilt in many situations like bank fraud, tax fraud etc.

Mitt Romney's story just continues to get worse as time goes on.   Most notably,  he'll be remembered as the  Republican stiff who couldn't beat the big o.   The Guy has no passion at all, and what remaining energy he can muster is used to fight Trump.   F him.
