Corrupt abuse of power for Trump to give pardons not on the basis of justice.  But to reward his friends and political allies, to protect those who lie to cover up for him, to shelter those guilty of killing civilians, and to weaken investigations that uncover massive wrongdoing.  No other president has been so self serving in giving pardons to undermine rule of law.  More controversial pardons expected in sleazy final weeks.

 Snorkel...I'll catch ya on our next project. I've been pounding the ponies pretty well & had some extra bucks. So put the dough in a jar that we can use for something to help either our vets or medical first responders. I'm sure we will hear about someone in need & we can help them out.

I was helping handing out food boxes but had to stop. The despair on the faces of people with kids in the backseat looking at ya & thanking ya was heart breaking. These are hard working Americans (probably some illegals) that lost their jobs & don't have diddly to eat. Imagine that! I couldn't take it; I had to stop.

I was coming home around noon & pissed all day. I did the turkey thing around Thanksgiving which was cool but what we are dealing with now is overwhelming. The line of cars is non-stop. And when I saw a senior, it reminded me of personal family members that are long gone but these faces are etched in my brain. In a way, it's pretty fucked up.

Anyway, it's a new year and I know things will get better. We can stay in touch here in case we hear of some one in need & just plan to help again when the weather gets better & we get control of the virus. Stay safe & healthy!

BTW...anyone else in here who wants to help our fellow Americans in need, join us. It's amazing how much a couple of Covers dudes can help change someone's life even if for a short period of time with some socks and razor blades. We argue quite a bit in this forum because of different views but we should be able to agree on helping our fellow Americans in need.
