First name that comes to mind is Governor Whitmer from Michigan. Secretly flies to Florida "to see sick dad" (her dad was spotted two weeks later shopping and driving his Tesla in Lansing MI) This after she said no one should go south for spring break. Had a large donor give her use of private jet and snuck out of Michigan. Later had non-profit pay up to avoid legal trouble.

You see they couldn't say that New York was leading the nation in cases per day at the time. They couldn't say that New York had nearly double the cases in the month of December than Florida, so they used Florida's low early December numbers against them. Fine work, get piece of deceiving the masses. They do it well.

This is concerning but the data is still early. For fictitious example maybe just 100 covid kids might represent a new "record"
I am much more concerned that a growing number of hospitals are being swamped with covid patients of all ages all around the world including here.
Since June 1st in Minnesota they have been averaging about 1/3 of COVID deaths are the vaccinated. 1080 vaccinated folks in Minny have died. The average vaccination rate in Minny from June 1 to now about 56%. Just under 600 have died since November 8th.
So yes, the vaccine helps save lives, but certainly not the numbers being touted.

i agree , baish europe is getting gut punched right now
vaccinations r helping to save hundreds of thousands here and europe but the sheer speed at which omicron spreads - even though slightly milder overall compared to previous strains - is still causing major problems for health care systems
