    @wallstreetcappers

     You are trying to make this more difficult than it is.... I've removed Trump from the equation.  I'm not asking anything about "character" or "who will bring the Country together" (answer, no one).

    It is Biden vs. "the field".

    If you choose neither than I am assuming you will sit out the 2024 election.  Nothing wrong with that, it is your constitutional right.  Barring Trump sitting in a prison come election time, he is going to be the GOP candidate no doubt.  Personally I don't think Biden will be in the 2024 race as he is going to be replaced at some point prior to November '24.

    You will not survive here. You are not a wolf, and this is the land of wolves now...

    The answer you gave is how I see it as well, I dont see how Biden is the DNC candidate, but Newsome is too extreme even if he has a better look and is younger than Biden. Stuff I hear him backing in Calif is too far left, too extreme and implausible so I hope it is not him.

    Here is a better answer, I think you know my position on spending..it isnt like we are going to avoid it or slow it so the choices are either spend on corp stuff and war (GOP) or social programs (DNC) and I side with social program but it isnt like I want to be limited like that but it is reality. I would spend our debt and our taxes on social programs every day of the week versus corp freebies (as Trump did) and war (as Bush Bush Reagan did). So that is the limited choices and that is what I pick.

    If the GOP had some candidate that was fiscally responsible, said they would reduce military and foreign outlays, was focused on a positive budget (not balanced, a surplus) and would not attack social programs as a platform AND wasnt a slimeball, well then you have my vote. Does this person exist? No...the closest the GOP had in the last 20 years was Romney but he was also a corporatist and that isnt great.

    I would consider Obama if she ran because their approach is unifying and positive versus the sludge we have now, but that assumes there isnt some nasty crap in the closet and that she would run. I think a woman minority president is exactly what this country needs. I do not see another candidate that I support currently but lets see what happens.

    Biden is the worst, Ive said that so many times, he is a multi decade slummer who really accomplished nothing and is extremely uninspiring and lousy and his kid ranks up with the Trump kids as losers, but Hunter makes me like Biden even less than I did before (which was zero before).

    Surprisingly, the closest candidate to that description you mentioned is Vivek.

    fiscally responsible - check

    reduce military and foreign outlays - check

    focused on positive budget (zero based) - check

    not attack social programs - "as a platform" check BUT government bloat and redundancies throughout organizations he will attack

    wasn't a slime ball - ???

    @kcblitzkrieg

     I dont like someone who puts people down as a means of elevating themselves, he comes off very cocky and condescending and does not at all seem the unifying type. He has a strong corporate agenda and a big chip on the shoulder. I watched several interviews with the guy and I felt like I was watching someone either on drugs or that has major ADD issues and cannot focus without his head exploding.

    He is a harsher more abrasive and extreme version of Romney, very strong opinions and confrontational, I think he is trying way too hard to impress the fringe GOP and he wont, he has no chance.

    Ya in this 1 statement that's what he says.In a lot of his other statements like in post #1226,he's insinuating that Biden borrowing 200 grand to someone is a crime and that he should be prosecuted for it.You can't just take 1 statement from someone and say that's what he means,when his other statements say different.And Dr Seuss,nobody cares what you will allow,your opinion only matters to you and you only,dig on that for awhile.I can infer whatever I want,when that's exactly what he is doing when he insinuates with no evidence that Biden has committed crimes and should be prosecuted for those crimes (you know the crimes that nobody knows exactly what they are yet).

    I'm not seriously trying to make a case that trump is deserving of the 91 charges,that was what the grand jury's decided,not me.It doesn't matter if I think trump is deserving of the (yes you were right it is 91 charges) 91 charges "or whatever the hell the actual number is".That's evidently what the grand jury's determined to be the number of charges the courts would indict him for.

    Why how many charges do you think trump actually committed the crimes in,if 91 isn't the answer?

    And what does it matter how many exact charges he's looking to get out of by becoming president,if it's 1,3,6,46 or all 91?The fact that he's trying to dodge any of his charges by just becoming president,should upset you.Wouldn't you be upset if they found things to charge Biden with,and Biden just made those charges go away because he is the president?

    Of course it's unprecedented,but just like everything else.Instead of you guys saying "I can't believe that POS committed 91 crimes",you guys whine about the same witch hunt bull shit you've been crying about for 8 years.The only thing that "stinks to high heaven" is the fact that you guys voted for the criminal conman to begin with.Oh we can see it alright (and so do you,but you won't admit it),we see him being held responsible for the crimes he's committed.It seems like you have a problem with criminals being held responsible for the crimes they've committed,why's that?

    Why would it be election interference when he is held responsible for his crimes.Would it be election interference if they found crimes committed by Biden?

    Ya,now the dems are making it a communist country for charging trump,but that's exactly what you guys want to do to Biden.So using your logic it's communist to charge trump with crimes,but perfectly okay to charge Biden if he committed crimes.Then you got the nerve to talk about hypocrisy.

Let's face it, NY is going after him with a vigor not seen in any other criminal cases. I'm sure he's guilty of some shady shit, but what major biz/bizman isn't? That doesn't make it OK, but they've made it clear that this is their special project. Aren't the lending institutions he dealt with complicit? Why are they not co-defendants here? If liar loans weren't illegal back then, then why is this case being tried? Maybe the best, & worst, results of his term is that a lot of the scum in DC was exposed on both sides.  As far as the Biden's go, if they've committed crimes then the DOJ should put their money where their mouths are & prove that no one is above the law.   See you show your bias and inability to be neutral. You want accountability and pursuit of the Bidens but not Trump. Hard to take that seriously.  Your excuse for not prosecuting Trump for his business crimes is that what other major bizman isn't committing crimes???  Nice defense. That is not seeking truth or justice. Why are you not defending Biden then and saying what politician isn't dirty? Why prosecute him and not other dirty politicians? You are not saying that at all.  I wonder why.What mugg is saying is,I want Biden charged with the crimes that we THINK he committed.We have no evidence yet,of these crimes being committed.But to make it not look like a 2 tiered justice system,we need some charges against Biden too. He even admits "I'm sure he's (being trump) guilty of some shady shit,but what major biz/bizman isn't",but then cries about things being a witch hunt if trump's charged with his "shady shit" crimes.But of course he still wants Biden charged for the crimes they isn't any evidence of yet. So basically in a nutshell,this is the logic mugg is trying to use, Charge Biden with crimes there isn't any evidence of yet. But don't charge trump for his crimes,that not only is there tons of evidence in,but trump admits his crimes every time he talks about them.Otherwise it's election interference for charging trump for crimes he may have committed. FYI-all you criminals out there.If law enforcement is ever thinking about throwing charges your way.This is straight from the trump law library at trump university.Just tell them you are running in an election,then they shouldn't be able to charge you with anything.You have comprehension problems.....seriously.
    No,I comprehend you perfectly.

    I really like this "loan is now a crime" stance. an_roll_laugh

    Now let us take a look at this: If someone publicly  said I was taking a bribe when my brother sent me $200,000 or $40,000, what would I do?

    Simple if it was indeed a loan. I would show the records that show the date and time I gave out the loan and maybe even the reason the loan was needed. There would be such egg on the face of my accusers and nobody would believe them when they cry wolf again! an_light

    But what if I am guilty of taking money disguised as a loan? If I lie it digs a deeper hole. Hmm, I need outside help. So let's get CNN supposed access to my bank records and sow the seed of doubt. Sorta like 51 former intel officials saying "the laptop had all the makings of Russian disinformation". They didn't say IT WAS, just "all the makings", clever!

    And CNN has done just that.

    So why doesn't Biden step forward with his records and just say so? Think even a halfwit would know the answer to that.

      You may think you do, but you don't. You zero'd in on part of a conversation & took what YOU WANTED from it. I knew when I responded that there was a chance this would happen........& sure enough.

Think even a halfwit would know the answer to that.
    Then I'm surprised a complete party of halfwit's (repubs),can't come up with any proof of any crimes.

    CNN, Wallstreet journal, Factcheck.org and Washington examiner question the notion that Biden loan payments are evidence of anything other than a brother helping a brother.

    If he's guilty of a crime he should face significant consequences!  And I stand by that as it would apply to anyone! (although according to republicans, a sitting president cannot be even charged with anything let alone prosecuted and convicted)

    But if not, his ACCUSERS should face consequences for their false accusations.

    Well if he's guilty of something surely they would have found the PROOF by now.  I mean it's not like they aren't frothing at the mouth in desperate search of any dirt they can possibly find (or fabricate should their search fail)!

    WHERE'S THE IRREFUTABLE PROOF?!?! confused

    @fubah2

     Hey,like the wise old scholar Rudy once said."We've got lots of theories,but we just don't have any evidence".

    Irrefutable Proof?No they don't have that,so they got together and decided they are just gonna settle for "Somebody heard this from some guy".

    Well maybe they could bring in Devon Archer (again) to provide compelling testimony to PROVE Biden malfeasance.

    Or maybe they could bring in the "My Pillow" guy to provide expert testimony!

    Or if that fails how about the Kraken lawyer?  She'll PROVE the case for sure. an_fight

    2 impeachments, a Mueller Investigation, and now they continue their bullshit against Trump AFTER leaving office.   Yeah, it is a witch hunt.....  They don't like Trump, and they sure as Hell will do all they can to keep him from the Presidency again ..  Pay attention.  peace_5

    an_roll_laugh... Was that really a serious question, MrWhatsItToYa ??  You prove my point on how you lefties are out to lunch.  It is a 2-tired Justice System that you lefties ignore.

    The DOJ et al "protect" Biden amid his "Potential" illegal business dealings w Hunter.....  Compare that with The DOJ et al "going after" Trump.

    Look it.  They are trying to prevent him from becoming president, again.   Period.  End of Story.   The charges are just a "means to end" to accomplishing this goal.  So, go ahead ... Add another 10,50, or 100 charges to Trump.  At this point, lots of people just don't care, and reason that the charges themselves are just a weapon.  an_light
