Of course they will.  Should be a conflict of interest but that means nothing to them when they are the majority.

Republicans' "Family and small business taxpayer protection act" would target 87,000 IRS agents who don't exist, increase federal deficit by $114 billion, help tax cheats and undermine law enforcement.

Yup. The GOP does everything it can to help the elaborate tax schemers get away with paying no taxes, while letting us get screwed. The Trump tax scam gave me a $15k tax hike in 2018, and only went up from there. Meanwhile, Trump paid $750 in taxes

The truth about the "87,000 IRS agents":

    - Over 10 years

    - It's NOT 87,000 new hires

    - Replacing 50,000 folks expected to retire

    - Then many of the additional 37,000 new hires are in areas like customer service and IT, so the IRS website works better and you can reach a human..

The GOP is filled with liars & insurrectionists that cannot be trusted to tell us the truth. Why are they afraid to go after the tax cheats?

    one reason is obvious

another reason is gleaned easily a recent incident :: when it was discovered chump was hoarding about 300 government documents , many ofthem classified , at his private residence , lied about it , then obstructed justice in getting those stolen documents back ,  the republicans said basically nothing  other than to attack president biden

but when bidens lawyers immediately turn over 10 documents biden forgot to remove from an old desk he once used as vp , u would think the whole bloody world is nearing an end an_getaway

I noticed the GOP announced the House Committee Chairs which included 14 men & 3 women.

    Where's Byron Donalds?

He was good enough to nominate as Speaker but not to chair a committee?

    Fucking GOP phony hypocrites!

Say a legislative action created a new law....

Then someone has to enforce it....

But sheriff department can pick and choose which laws get enforced....

Oh no weed for you but here an adult weopon.

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Sheriffs from Winnebago, Ogle, Stephenson, Lee, DeKalb, Boone and other counties across the state announced Wednesday that they will not enforce Illinois’ recently passed law that requires current owners of “assault weapons” to register with the state.

The Protect Illinois Communities Act bans the future sale of about 100 different semi-automatic pistols, shotguns, and rifles because they are now considered assault weapons. Long-gun magazines with more than 10 rounds and handgun magazines with more than 15 rounds are also now illegal in Illinois.

House republicans approve two controversial abortion bills unlikely to pass democrat senate.  The "born alive survivor protection act" is based on dubious claim that children are born alive after failed abortions and then killed.  But current law already protects the rights of infants.  Second bill paints abortion rights supporters as violent threats to anti-abortion fake clinics such as Crisis pregnancy centers while ignoring anti-abortion terrorists.  These bills show republicans reject the will of the majority of Americans.

When the POS ran for president in 2016, he boasted he would entirely eliminate the national debt in 8 years. Instead he blew it up by almost 40% — by $7,800,000,000,000.

    Now...

Republicans want to force through a 30% federal sales tax.

    Take your weekly grocery bill.

Now add 30% — as a federal tax.

That’s what the GOP House leadership is proposing.

Tax experts think a national sales tax would increase taxes for millions of families.  Income inequality would increase because the poor and middle class would pay more while the rich pay less.  Fairer for income taxes to rob the rich to give to the poor.

Okay let me get this straight.  The GOP actually want to raise our taxes?!?!? confused

This would be a colossal added burden to low and middle income Americans.

Roughly 95% of Americans.  A huge tax increase!

    What the hell?!

Why are they even thinking something so damn stupid?

I think the GOP should craft a bill protecting our nation’s youth from sexual assault in high school and collegiate athletics. It could be called the “Gym Jordan Bill.”

    With COVID Conspiracy Theorists

    HUFFPOST -

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) unveiled his picks
on Tuesday for the new Select Subcommittee on the
Coronavirus Pandemic: Republicans who have spread
    dangerous misinformation about COVID-19, compared

Meanwhile, there was positive data about the Covid boosters that was released today. It will most certainly be ignored by the zombie-brain Dotard “hates America” crowd
