What meaningful legislation does the GOP plan to introduce?

Sad.  But true.  Reveals what they are.

If Trump is elected, project 2025 would raise taxes for millions of middle and low income families while the richest would receive tax cuts.  According to Center for American progress, defunding IRS investigations would also make it easier for tax evasions.

Project 2025 would rollback protection for overtime pay of employees.  In contrast, democrats favor protecting workers who work in excess of regular hours.  Polls show 84% of Americans oppose eliminating overtime pay.

Why the hell would republicans want to punish the blue collar workers and rollback OT pay????

Come out to California where overtime is paid after 8 hours in any workday or after 40 in any workweek

It's all hogwash....the unions control this and they would never let it happen anyway...overtime is not going away...no way no how....

Center for American progress reveals that project 2025 would exploit child labor laws by allowing minors to work in dangerous working conditions with fewer protections.  Increasing the risk of injuries and deaths.  A century ago, dangerous child labor was recognized as a moral failure.  But project 2025 wants to take US back to this dark age.

Project 2025 would threaten health and economic security of millions of Americans.  By taking away access to free emergency contraceptives for women.  By making cheaper junk insurance the default option for medicare which increases the risk of under insured coverage for serious expensive illnesses.  By capping lifetime coverage for low income medicaid recipients.  Especially in states that haven't adopted Obamacare expansion.

 I seem to recall the MAGA Governor of Arkansas making moves to relax child labor laws.

Association of chiefs of police opposes project 2025 plan to weaken laws on concealed carrying of guns in public.  Radical agenda would help criminals but make job harder for law enforcement to keep people safe.  In contrast, Biden has done more to reduce gun violence than any administration in US history.

Those kids are saying, we got to go to school all day and then come home and have to work for this maga slob all night.

If the MAGAtts in congress get their way there likely won't be a future for those kids anyway due to such heavy pollution that the cities become unlivable.

That is without a doubt.  Republicans, especially magas some of the most selfish people.  They could care less about how they leave the world, even for their own children. They are all about the moment and themselves.

Project 2025 spending cuts would decimate almost 180,000 teacher positions to negatively affect 2.8 million students according to Center for American progress.  Abolishing education department, increasing monthly payments for student loans and eliminating school meals for elementary students.

Trump policy agenda has gone into hiding because polls show project 2025 is politically toxic among voters.  They oppose replacing thousands of government officials with political loyalists, restricting women rights to contraceptives and eliminating education department.

dang, can we replace all government officials because that is something I could support..it's time to gut most of the government positions anyway

Project 2025 would harm veterans according to Venter for American progress. Cutting benefits for disabled veterans.   Cutting health coverage and quality of care. Abolishing consumer financial protection.  Worsening veteran homelessness.
