Baltimore at New England (01/10/2010)

 Vegas knows this is a "tight to the vest" game.  Just look at line. I haven't see Pats the run the rock with passion and energy in 15 months. Forget Fred Taylor, he's washed up. Ray Rice and Mr "Underated", Willis Mcgaee are very tough. They will finish runs. Yes, weather is a big factor here. For me, the Pats lose thier first home playoff game under Tom Brady since 2001.  Pats are facing a tougher, stronger team here. I know Ravens are boring, but if they get that running game going, look out. Lets take the Ravens on the money +155. Falco and Heap move the chains. Baltimore 23 Pats 20.

 P.S.--Ray Lewis makes a mark on this game, maybe a fumble or sack or pick. Just got a feeling.

Your 100% right... I am not using those games to cap this game....  I was just saying of the one common opponent that Welker and Edleman faced..... there was a HUGE gap in the stats... Also, Randy Moss was a non-factor in both games (2nd game he had a td, but Revis locked him up)

the point I was trying to prove was that Welker to Edleman is a HUGE downgrade at a key position....

I like Baltimore with the points.... but I am not completely sure I'm going to bet against Brady and Belicheck in the Playoffs.... This might be a no-play for me...

The OVER is the Bet!!  Gonna go over 43 without a doubt..Both teams Def.  suspect...Both teams will score...whether it's running or passing..It's gonna be about how Ravens handle the big stage..Penalties --turnovers--DROP Passes  ..the only reason they lost many of their games this year..Lock of the week!!!

Simplify things people......look at the basics.  New England and Minny are the only 2 undefeated teams at home this year!!!  Baltimore played good on and off all year.....yes they are dangerous if the D gets hot and they run it well.......but every win they have this year is against a losing team!!!  Every one of them!!!!  So does that mean that ALL 7 losses came against winning teams?????  ........and Edleman will fill in nicely for Welker.....the world doesn't stop turning when one little quick guy with 3 TD's this year goes down.  Especially when there is another quick little posession guy to come in and take his place.  It's what the Pats have been doing for years now people!!! 

Patriots aren't going down at home in the first playoff game they have been in over two years to a team that can't beat a good team all year!!!!!  It's not 6-7 1/2 points here.......it's a field goal game. 

Dude, look at the Patriots wins.  They are against what i would consider sub par teams.   Face the music, the Pats are not the same team they once were. The defense is soft, the running backs are average, Brady isnt the same, and Randy Moss is the lone bright spot and he has had a few pretty weak performances.

Ravens running backs are damn good. Recievers are average. Defense is better than pats. Flacco aint half bad. Brady will probably throw two picks

Ravens just seem to be a little bit scarier.

Looking at all 4 matchups this weekend.....and looking for value....all the visiting teams have a great chance at winning.....so here goes:

Jets     ML +110 (kicked Cin butt last week)

Eagles ML +165 (last year Pitt/Balt.. was the only time I can remember that a team beat the same team 3X in one season...look it up)

Balt     ML +160  (with Welker hurt and Brady banged up...Balt has a shot)

GreenBay   +1 -110 (GB is the better of the 2 teams)

lay $100 to win $2662.............just IMO
