Baltimore at New England (01/10/2010)

Under for me, Brady hurt,Welker out,Baltimore's nasty defense and cold all =UNDER in my book plus the public is on the over.

Ravens have a great running game, but with Wilfork and Warren back, don't count on as many 3rd down conversions from the ground game. Flacco just hasn't impressed me this season. 

Welker is no doubt a huge loss, but consider this: 54 of Welker's catches were on 1st and 10!  Perhaps that's why his TD count was relatively low.  Count on Edelman and others to step it up big time, and for Brady to distribute the ball more, which is his strength.  I expect a close game... A FG wins it.

Ravens. Look for the officials to hopefully not play a roll. Baltimore should have won last meeting. Brady was protected by the officials. Weather will be a factor in this game.  Total at 43.5 I looking at the under. Adjustments for injuries, weather.

The New England Patriots are 8-0 at home this season.  The Baltimore Ravens are 3-5 while on the road this season, and 7-5 against AFC opponents.  At home the Patriots are averaging 31.2 scoring, and holding teams to 12.9 points scored on defense.

either way if brady's ribs are just bruised, look for the play calling to be run run run,  to protect his @$$. If you ever even had bruised ribs you know its a M-effer. every pass will remind him of that. One or two good solid hits on him and we could see some q-b rotation or all out sub. Just wish i knew the true extent of his inury or not. if his ribs are even bruised. im rolling with balt, if brady is 100% healthy,got run with the patriots. messed up finger, ball rolls off his delivery a little weird leaves the interception window wide open.  if the reports\rumors are in fact true, Balt & the under.

Did Jets over 34  and did 2 team parlay Jets plus 3 and Dallas -3.5 won both yesterday.

Also did a 4 team parlay. 2 for 2 right now.

Jets ML plus 165

Balt plus 165 

Green Bay  To win, line was at 0 for me.

Did 40 to win 639.52

I know the Balt game will not be easy.   But hoping Ray Rice has a good day today and that Ray Lewis and Co. bring the heat and pressure Brady.

Agree 100% SRM...  Brady's been on the injury list for 12 years!

How can anybody in their right mind pick Pats to win this game?There is no frickin' way! This will be my biggest wager of the year, taking 3 1/2 huge and the moneyline+170 large.

No way Bray pulls this one out, absolutely no way. This is the biggest "line" blunder of the season. The Pats are done......toast!

Im taking NE, , i think it will be close though because balt can run also, question? what running back holds on to the ball in the cold weather? im thinking a fumble in thier own territory turns this game for one team or the other

OH BY THE WAY " HOW BOUT THEM COWBOYS"

Is it just me or does the line want people to take the PATS? Knowing that the PATS have never lost a home playoff game and all the other hooplah surrounding the "New England Element." 

There definitely won't be a blowout either way...that's a given.  But everyone saw what a shutdown corner can do to a gameplan (Revis on Johnson).  Hence, Reed on Moss in this game.  I'm not sure if that is a good comparison considering Reed is coming of injury but should be noted.  Given that...do the PATS have enough weapons to score?  I don't consider any of their running backs stellar or even above average.  But Rice is stellar. 

How can you go against Bellichick? He always seems in control.  Not really sold on Harbough yet.  I will be if they can win this afternoon.

Baltimore D is going to be JACKED UP! Hard to go against that.  But it always seems like the NE offense can wear teams down even if they are tested. 

I don't like the passing game of the Ravens...I can see Flacco throwing an INT or possibly two? 

I can't make up my mind.  I've been told that the offense line of the PATS is one of the best in the league.  Does anyone know about there corners?  This is the element that will make me decide.
