Danstyk is right here, at least about 4 team parlays. If ya gotta bet 4 or 5 team parlays, do it in baseball. Although picking winners is much easier with no spreads involved ( as in baseball ) there's no guarantee anytime. That's why they call it gambling ! I am with you on the Ravens however. The Pats aren't what a lot of people think they are this year and they just lost their best offensive weapon. This will be a good game and won't be decided til late.
Don't forget.... they beat up the undefeated Colts on the road for 3 quarters.... no other team has done that this year.... and if you watched that game you know I am right.... this Pat team is bad on the road.... but at home in this weather they are a different animal...
my initial lean was Balt.... but the more I look at this game I think the Pats cover.... Brady doesn't have broken ribs, and Welker is a huge loss, but I still think the home field advantage is huge....
GL TO ALL... probably a no play for me.... but go Ravens lol

Dude, look at the Patriots wins. They are against what i would consider sub par teams. Face the music, the Pats are not the same team they once were. The defense is soft, the running backs are average, Brady isnt the same, and Randy Moss is the lone bright spot and he has had a few pretty weak performances.
Ravens running backs are damn good. Recievers are average. Defense is better than pats. Flacco aint half bad. Brady will probably throw two picks
Ravens just seem to be a little bit scarier.
RAVENS ML
Dude are you smoking CRACK? The Ravens have one quality win all season against SD early ! I understand that they're not the same team they were 5 years ago but they're just about the same team that was 18-1 2 years ago. Give me that guys number so I can get me some of that shit you're on.

The New England Patriots once again find themselves playing in January, and once again playing host. Despite winning 11 games last season with a backup quarterback, they missed the playoffs. As a result you can bet they are pumped to be here and will be looking to make the most of it. And unlike the last time they were here, they have something to prove in 2009. They aren't getting the respect they have gotten in years past, as shown by this line and the lack of media attention. By some accounts, they don't deserve it as they posted what looks to be a good, but not great, season. They went 10-6 and never seemed to be among the league's elite as the attention went to Indy, New Orleans, San Diego and Minnesota. But, let's l ook a bit deeper. New England's six losses this season came to some pretty good teams, or teams playing very well. They lost to Denver early on when the Broncos were playing very good football and in the midst of their 6-0 run. They lost to an Indianapolis team that could have gone 16-0 this season if they so chose. They lost to a 13-3 New Orleans team as well and posted a fairly meaningless loss to Houston at the end of the year. They didn't have any really embarrasing losses on the year, and most importantly, they really took care of business at home. More on that in a minute. Some will point to the loss of Wes Welker as a problem here. As good Welker he is, this offense is more systematic than player-dependent. Julian Edelman, in less than a full game last week, came in to grab 10 passes for 103 yards. He also performed very well when we filled in for Welker earlier in the season. He's a dropoff, but not enough to make a huge difference. If this game were in Baltimore, I might like the Ravens. But it's in Foxboro and that is very important. At home this season New England was an absolute juggernaut. They went 8-0, outscoring opponents 31 to 13 in the process, and the only AFC team to go undefeated at home. That's a margin of 18 points per game. The last time they lost at home with Tom Brady under center was 24 games ago, on November 12, 2006! Let's not forget who we are backing here. This team still has Bill Belichick, Tom Brady and Randy Moss playing at home. In years past, that would command a TD+ line but we lay only a field goal here against a team that was 3-5 SU and 3-4 ATS on the road this season! Baltimore was actually outscored by their opponents on the road in 2009. Why so much respect here? The Ravens are tough against the run, but are vulnerable to the type of air attack they will face here. The Ravens faced six top QBs this season in Phillip Rivers, Brett Favre, Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady and Big Ben. They lost five of the six games, including the last five straight. The Pats usually win the games they are supposed to. Over the past fifteen years, they are 23-5 ATS vs. teams at .500 to .600. They are also 22-10 ATS over that span at home vs. good defenses (those allowing 17 or fewer points per game). With "The Hoody" in charge, this team is 67-53 ATS as a favorite and 30-16 ATS when coming off a loss as they are here. I like the Pats to get it done and win and cover.
PATS COVER WITH EASE !!!!!!!!!

BAL +3.5: Belichick doesn't seem as sharp in his decision-making as in the past. The Ravens outplayed the Pats earlier this year even tho they lost (more passing and rushing yards). Penalties killed Ravens in 1st game. I know that was WAY back in game 4, i'll go with the Ravens and their D in this game.
BAL/NE OVER 43: Defenses aren't as good as they were for both teams.
NE -3: OK, so i'm flip flopping, i can't bet against the PATs at home. The Ravens are 3-4 ATS on the road while New England is 8-0 at home. In bad weather, Brady is the top cold-weather QB in the league. Because of the weather, i'll take the UNDER too. Score: Patriots 28-Ravens 10 (3 units on each)

Still no response from rekamyenoM concerning his claim that New England will beat the Colts if they play . I guess I'll have to find someone else who will back up the talk with some

This is for rekamyenoM, a couple of weeks ago you stated that the Pats will beat the Colts in the AFC Championship game. At that time I asked if you'd care to make a side wager on that statement for $100. You never responded, so I'll extend the offer one more time. If the Pats play the Colts for the AFC Championship game, would you like to wager on it ? At least you could respond by saying yes or no this time. I mean afterall, I figure anyone making claims that one team will beat another team, should be willing to back it up............right ?
I will take that bet.... If they even play. Looks like the Pats will go to SD first. Colts might not make it that far. After all their Post Season Record is Horrible! 7-8!

You fools betting on the Patriots and Ravens Moneyline are in for a bad beat with the nunchucks smacking them in the balls. Look for the Patriots to win the game by a field goal. These two teams are evenly matched as defense will be vital in this game and both will bring it.
Bill Belichick lives another day for now... until the Chargers electrocute his balls off with an electric eel.
Ravens +3.5

I dont chime in that often....only when useless knowledge and blind loyalty backs peoples picks. These threads are supposed to be about reasoning and debate so we can all make money. Not so we can tell you how much my favorite team is better than yours. If you think a certain team is going to win when then tell me why mother fucker. Dont tell me it is because you grew up wearing patriots pajamas and bill belichick is your second uncle. fuck off. If thats the case, log onto your patriots fan website and chat it up with your fellow knuckleheads. If your a Ninja, go to your fucking dojo and talk about how great Bruce Lee was in Enter the Dragon. Otherwise get the fuck off this website and quit peeing into the pool of making money.
