Pats - 3.5  I am not saying this because I live in Boston and have a pulse for the game...I'm saying this because the public is actually (marginally) on the Jets, though it's too close to see a side.  

I'm on Jets + under. Matt + Brett have not thrown many touchdowns recently, using the passing game to help move down the field, but the running game is where it has been for both teams to finish things off.

True.... BUT..... Jets beat the Pats in Foxborough 2 years ago in bad weather.... Bad weather suits the JETS more than the Pats in my opinion.... that game was with Chad Pennington and Tom Brady....

Let's cool it with the bashing of other posters.  This crap happens way too often and makes this site worthless to those who only care about 2 things -- football and gambling.  (Ok, make it 3 -- football, gambling, and sex based on the avatars.)

I don't know Fpronk at all but it seems like he makes some damn good picks --especially in the NFL.  For him to post his NFL record and you to bash him on college picks makes you look like a joke.  Even if his picks suck -- who cares?   You learn from that too -- IF you are smart.

I've been on here for years along with a handful of others and cannot count the # of posters who come and go -- the idiots because they have nothing to say and then lose all their money, as well as the good ones who simply cannot deal with immature egos.  This site is not for anyone to bloat their own ego or choke anyone else's.

End of Rant. 

Back to the game -- I'm still sitting this one out, as it really is a pickem game.  On paper I think Jets +3.5 is the pick.  (And why go moneyline?  This is no slam dunk to pick the Jets.  You Jet fans, don't be so greedy.)  Especially since the Pats hold the edge with FG kickers.  Gostkowski has been money, while Nugent has a thigh injury.

Weather will be dank and moist -- under would be my lean, and first game between these two went for 29 pts.   Game before that went to 30.

Pats secondary is held together with bailing wire and duct tape.  Seriously I don't know how they have survived this far.  One reason is they have not had a very tough schedule.  Indy in a down year, NFC west, etc.

BigDaddy too bad we blew it on the under last night.  Oh well, at least it wasn't a ball-squeezer.  Not even close.   Hope you are feeling better these days.

I don't bet parlays, parlays are for losers like you to play and if you knew anything about betting you would know that teaser and parlays are for rooks.

It doesn't matter to anyone how many units you play...a unit is irrelevant because your unit it is probably 1$ each. So you telling me or anyone else you bet 10 units or 1 unit is pointless. Regardless of what amount anyone bets is also irrelevant and if you were a seasoned gambler you would know that...but then again keep showing that you're a rookie.

I don't understand the logic in that.... obviously there are personel and coaching changes, but the teams main scheme is consistant... the Jets had the same coach and same offensive coordinator when they beat the pats in foxborough 2 years ago in the snow.... last year they played twice in mild conditions and Pats swept (with brady).... now they are playing in bad weather in foxborough after losing the first matchup, doesn't that sound familiar? 

and the last matchup is a huge indicator of how the teams matchup.... ex.  Pats are down Harrisson... thats a difference in the JETS favor.... Down Thomas, difference in the JETS favor... Cassel is playing better than he did that game, PATS favor....

Also, if the JETS get to the goalline, do you think they will try to run it in every time again?

I layed the wood pile on the under for this game last night when i saw 90% rain at kickoff (1st half and game) but am now concerned that the rain looks to be coming a few hours earlier than expected.....maybe that'll be a good thing for the first half but slippery conditions could have dbs falling down for big plays in the second half....hhhhmmm!...glta  

Yes - FPronk is not very intelligent.  And, even in gambling, intellect matters.  Therefore, I would have to conclude that he is not a very good gambler.

If the weather is going to be nasty the rook for NE is going to fumble and IMO Cassel is NOT and accurate passer. If he was they would have beaten My Bills by 20 and not 10
