BA—talk to me about this North Texas and So Miss game.  Lines NT -4.5…Connelly has it a pk

i watched both of these teams last weekend (N. Tex was way ahead of Rice on the road) ( So Miss looked pathetic @ MTSU) Not to fall for the recency bias, but it’s hard for me to think the home field will make that big a difference for So Miss.  What am is missing here to think this game will be in So Miss favor??

no it doesn’t, and that’s why im trying to gain some real perspective on them.  Thanks for responding.  Just think it’s easy to look at 6-0 #15 ranking and be mislead.  Im on Appy—they played way below par vs a very goood ULL team and program. Sets up nicely, but CC might decide to show up and proves their worth beating a team above those bottom feeders they’ve been feasting on.

I know you’ve got Appy St +3 1st half—but I’m having a hard time seeing an quality wins from CC to see how they beat Appy outright.  Connelly has CC STRONGEST opponent to date (Buffalo) ranked 99th. Other FBS wins are at or very near the bottom of his SP+ ratings.  Appy hasn’t played a team below a 99 all season!  Just think this is a great spot for Appy outright win.  Let alone +5 on the game.  Thoughts BA?  Maybe there’s more to CC, but zero quality wins so far.  Please share….

How well does Tulane matchup here? I know you’re a WF fan—so does he have enough to keep this game close at home??
