This is actually really cool. I'm glad you're doing this. I find this incredibly interesting and wonder if a 1-1, or 2-1 scoreline (for both teams) would be beneficial since those seem to be the most consistent scorelines.
Good luck! I'll be rooting for zeros!

Many thanks for the compliment aside from the question, surely discipline is just as much an important factor as the "knowledge" and the studies of certain plays. You can possess massive knowledge, but if you aren't disciplined - you won't be successful in the long run. I understand the temptation of wanting to bet something on every single game during World Cup, but it is important to sometimes just sit and watch/enjoy and choose the plays with care. At least that is how I am reasoning. I guess it comes by learning the hard way, I can relate to it as well :) Thank you. That's what I figured. I have -120 for the Russia X2 on Bovada which seems great. I'll roll with you on these.

Just hope it's not a trap/upset like we saw yesterday. Bosnia should be motivated, though.

Sweem, dumb question, but could you brief me on the Russia X2 bet?
Is it just draw no bet? I also wanted to mention your discipline and how impressive it is. Definitely a lesson learned the hard way sometimes!

Where are you leaning on the Bosnia/Nigeria game tomorrow. Bosnia played Argentina fairly tough, whereas Nigeria has looked incredibly poor both in its warmup against the US and in the first match against Iran.
Any thoughts, potential bets? I'm looking at my largest bet yet on Bosnia ML. Tell me if this is wrong!

That means 2-2 for both teams. That means a tie. And that means France at -105 didn't win. |

Same scenario currently with Columbia, whose worst case is a tie with Ivory Coast, who they beat. First tiebreaker is goal differential. So no, not an outright group win.

Italy beats Costa Rica, and Uruguay beats England in phase two.
GP: 2 Italy - 6 points Costa Rica - 3 points. Uruguay - 3 points. England - 0 points. Then England beats Costa Rica, Italy beats Uruguay in phase three. GP: 3 Italy - 9 points. Costa Rica - 3 points. Uruguay - 3 points. England - 3 points. Three way tie for second place and it'll come down to goal differential. So it's imperative at this stage that you gain a point or, at the worst, manage to lose by one goal and score as many as possible (because if they're tied on GD, it comes down to goals scored; so a 3-2 loss is better theoretically than a 1-0 or 2-1 loss). |
