replied to help in Soccer Italy beats Costa Rica, and Uruguay beats England in phase two. GP: 2 Italy - 6 points Costa Rica - 3 points. Uruguay - 3 points. England - 0 points. Then England beats Costa Rica, Italy beats Uruguay in phase three. GP: 3 Italy - 9 points. Costa Rica - 3 points. Uruguay - 3 points. England - 3 points. Three way tie for second place and it'll come down to goal differential. So it's imperative at this stage that you gain a point or, at the worst, manage to lose by one goal and score as many as possible (because if they're tied on GD, it comes down to goals scored; so a 3-2 loss is better theoretically than a 1-0 or 2-1 loss).
