replied to NBA MONDAY DISCUSSION (IN PARTICULAR THE ROCKETS) in NBA Betting I think the Rockets simply are just not as good as maybe everyone thinks they are. Remember, they lost 6 straight before coming up with a victory against the Nuggets at home. I think as much as this is maybe a "must win" for the Rockets its also the same for the Clippers. I'm taking the road dog tonight only because I think this game will be decided by less than 6.5 points no matter who wins. Just my opinion of course. created a topic MONDAY PLAYS in NBA Betting Nice NFL Sunday....back to the weekly grind of the NBA. UTAH (-5) I just think the Jazz SHOULD roll in this game. CLIPPERS (+6.5) With Maggette back I think the Clips can keep this game close and possibly win it outright. This Rockets teams just does not impress me by any means. SUNS (-5.5) In the Suns last 7 games they have won 6 of them by 10 or more. I'll take those odds. I'm laying the 5 and half points expecting a DD win. ORLANDO (-5) I don't think the Magic will have any trouble against an unimpressive Portland team. Orlando has lost 2 games this year. One against San Antonio and one against the Suns. You won't be able to include Portland in that elite category. That being said Portland has pulled some huge upsets at home this year already. So I won't bet the farm on this one.
