In an alternate universe the Niners are -2 tomorrow. Find a way there and slam SF -2.
in NFL Betting 49ers players rubbing off on their fans? Lost so much respect for that team after listening to them whine all week about Losing. Cincinnati lost by 3 points with several “controversial calls” and we didn’t hear a word from them. Let us not visit any alternate universes and just enjoy watching the best two teams play in the Super Bowl. |

Adding: In 14 of their 16 wins, the Eagles were leading by 3+ at halftime. Expect a big 1H, especially 2Q from the Home team. Weak schedule… I know, I know. Blah, blah, blah. If you like Philly FG, Lock this in.

As for the KC offense vs the Philly Defense: I expect the incredible D-Line of the Eagles to make it hard for Pat, by getting him off his spot enough, and making him check it down a lot. Will the Eagles get 4+ sacks as they have for most of the year, I don't think so (PHI can set the all-time record for sacks in regular season and playoffs combined if they get to Mahomes on 4 occasions). Mahomes, even on a bum ankle is too hard to sack consistently. He is the BEST QB in the league, but the best QB in the NFL doesn't always perform well in the SB. No quarterback in the history of the NFL has won the passing title and the Super Bowl in the same season. Brady, Manning, Warner, Marino, and Gannon all lost the big game the year that they led the league in passing yards. And if you want to get really superstitious, the NFL MVP hasn't won the SB in the same season in the last 22 years! It's almost a given that Pat will claim that trophy on Thursday night. I just think it will be too difficult for Mahomes with his lackluster/banged up group of WRs vs Philly's elite CBs. I expect Kelce to have a big game along with McKinnon/Pacheco out of the backfield. They will try to attack and exploit Philly's LBs--the "weakness" of their defense. Am I a little nervous about going against Andy Reid with two weeks preparation and the almighty Pat Mahomes? Yes. Reid has been there, done that; this will be his 4th SB as a head coach (1-2) in previous two. But, after 14 seasons in Philly and never quite being able to get to the top of the mountain... Andy Reid will finally bring a Super Bowl to Philly.... By losing again. #nothingbutloveforandy |

NFL Playoffs: Sides & Totals: (8-1 ATS) props: 0-4 (-4.24 units) Overall 8-5 (+10.16 units)
PHILADELPHIA EAGLES ML (-122) {10 Units} MAX BET What a fun season it's been! I've been riding this Eagles team strong throughout the playoffs and it's been extremely profitable. As a life long Eagles fan, I watch every game.. and it's hard to convey to the average bettor how good this team really is as a whole. As I mentioned in a prior post- I think this is the best roster in team history. They can beat teams in a variety of ways. Last week, going into the SF game, I said that I thought the Defensive line of the Eagles would dominate and take over the game, they did. Against Kansas City, I see a MAJOR advantage on the eagles Offensive line. I feel like this will be a game where the Eagles O-line shines and leads them to victory. This offensive line of the Eagles has been dominant ALL season; but as a unit, they have stepped it up even more in the playoffs. Watching them on film, it is unbelievable how dominant they can be. Start with Jason Kelce and how athletic he is- pulling and leading the way for these ball carriers. Not only that, but the pop that he is getting off the ball on these double teams is eye opening (especially for his size). He's throwing guys around and pancaking defenders. Lane Johnson and the quickness/timing he has off the ball, along with his power is something special. Nick Bosa looked like he was hitting a brick wall every time the ball was snapped. Then you have Mailata and Dickerson driving guys downfield, excelling in their run blocking schemes & double teams. San Francisco came into Philly as the big bad bully. A team that could not be run on. They got punched in the mouth over and over. D-Lineman were getting driven 6-8 yards downfield and their elite linebackers literally looked LOST. And That had nothing to do with SF not having a QB, because the Eagles Knocked two QBs OUT and one back IN. One thing that makes the Eagles so dangerous is the scheme that Jeff Stoutland and the rest of the offensive coaches use in the run game, the sheer dominance of the guys up front, and the constant threat that the QB can keep the ball and burn the defense. With these strengths that I mention talking about the Eagles run game, I also see weakness in the Kansas City defense. KC's defensive front isn't bad at all. They have some guys up front, especially Chris Jones, who can be a game wrecker. What Kansas City lacks is depth across the D-Line. Unlike the Eagles, who have guys like Suh, Jordan Davis, Robert Quinn and Brandon Graham coming off of the bench, KC doesn't have the horses up front to go 60 minutes in the trenches with Philly. When the Eagles start to wear down the likes of Karlaftis, Jones, Saunders and Clark, they will have no help coming. The depth of the D-Line is simply not there. I won't even talk about the trio of WEAPONS that they have on the outside and a MVP caliber QB vs a secondary starting 3 rookies. When I hear analysts and former players projecting their thoughts on this game, it's kind of funny because they ALL are saying the same thing. "The Eagles to me just seem like the more well-rounded team". YOU THINK!? Yes, it's obvious that the Eagles have the better overall team/roster. It's not even close. But, let's not forget that they are going against the best QB/Coach combination aside from Brady/Belichick that we will see in our lifetime... (CONT'D)

The 9ers will not be a -3 dog in the SB. If they move on they’ll be anywhere from -1 to +1.5 |

Adding: PHI (-9.5) (+235) 1u Almost Every Teaser at every book is tied to SF +8.5. With CIN +7.5 early in the week and KC +8 mid week. I already liked the Eagles to win this game easier than most expect. But the thought of the majority of Teasers being dead after this game is appetizing. |

@vanzack Nice write ups. On the PHI/SF game: “The Eagles are in the bottom third %. pressure rate”? Not sure about this stat or how it is compiled but I’d like to know more. Philly has The best OLine in football and Lane Johnson and J.Kelce have not allowed a sack All year. I don’t expect Hurts to be clean all game but he’s definitely going to have time to go through his progressions more often than not. I strongly believe The Eagles will NOT come out running the ball. They will use a pass first approach to open up run options later. I’ve seen them do that whenever they’ve faced a top ten Run D. (Tenn, Pitt, Wash) gl On to Cincinnati. Lol |

@ayoforyayo You make some solid points. But, let me address some of the things you mentioned.. The 49ers having the 6th best pass protection rate is not relevant. They have a solid OLine but these dogs on the philly front seven are different. I dont know about the 'advanced stats' but I see how Purdy hasn't been very good in the pocket when facing pressure. Against Dallas LW, he faced pressure on 16 of his 33 dropbacks. Purdy definately struggled with the pass rush in his face as he completed 4 of his 12 attempts for only 55 yards when under pressure. The Cowboys also registered two sacks and caused two scrambles. Now, I know SF offense is built on quick release passing game. And you're right, they pre-snap motion more than any other team, create good matchups and usually put the rookie in a good postion to succeed. He may only have 4 INT's on the year but doesn't pass the eye test for me as far as putting the ball in harms way. I see this QB as a ticking time bomb. He's going to make a mistake vs this elite defense- and how is he going to handle it? Philly's LB core is a weakness. IMO, our undersized LB's, who sometimes have tackling issues are the main reason people talk about their run stopping concerns. They need to step up. And where PHI could have problems is McCaffery catching the ball out of the backfield. It's a real issue for these LBs. Kittle/Samuel will eat. They'll get theirs. If Shannahan can consistently scheme McCaffery into space, PHI could be in some trouble. 49ers LBs are phenomenal. Honestly, they're not being talked about enough. But, the Eagles don't rely on RB catches. Warner & Greenlaw will help neutralize PHI run game. But, Hurts should use his legs + the passing game to set up the run later. Goedert is THE Best TE after the catch in the NFL. He doesnt just run through Giants, he runs through everyone. I don't expect a huge game from him, but he will definitely contribute some big plays. Hurts may not be 100%, but he's very, very close to it. The injury on 12/18 will Not affect his game in any way on Sunday, trust me. He will also see some pressure, but SF who typically struggles vs mobile QBs better have a plan. |

2 props: D. Samuel Ov 20.5 Ru yds {1u} Going back to the well here. I lost on this Ov prop LW. I’ve noticed how Debo’s rushing usage seems to increase in the postseason. In his postseason career Samuel averages: 5 Attempts / 35.25 Ru yds per game. With McCaffery (calf) and Mitchell (groin) both missing practice this week, I think there will be a few more opportunities for Deebo, who is as dynamic as anyone with the ball. SF will put a heavy focus on their run game this week. J. Hurts Ov 1.5 TD passes (+110) {1.5u} Good Luck everyone! Let’s enjoy and make some Money |

NFL Playoffs: Overall 5-2 (+6.8 units)
Sides & Totals: 5-0 (+8 units) props: 0-2 (-1.2 units)
PHI -2.5 {5u}~ Best Bet The Eagles are ready for this moment. J. Hurts has impressed me so much not only with his play on the field but his ability to lead this team. He seems as prepared and focused as you can get. I expect him to shine as he has all season and be the difference here. B. Purdy isn’t ready for what is to come on Sunday. The pass rush, the environment, the pressure will be too much for the rookie. And according to Greg Cosell (NFL analyst/ NFL films), there are some major concerns from Purdy on film when he sees significant pressure. He’s not only bailing out too early instead of stepping up in the pocket, he’s rolling out to his left which is dangerous for a right handed QB. This Philly front doesn’t just have 1-2 studs like the 49ers Bosa & Armstead. They have 4 guys with DD sacks that are relentless. The Eagles were 2 sacks short (70) of breaking the NFL record held by the fuckin 85 Bears! 49er backers keep pointing out how the Eagles can’t stop the run. This is not a major concern. Is that they’re one “weakness” on defense. You can say that. But they rank 16th in the league in yards per game given up on the ground (121.4 ypg). Major improvements after signing Joseph & Suh and when Jordan Davis is in the lineup. Howie Roseman is a genius and has assembled an incredible roster- Best roster in team history IMO. I see the Eagles winning this game fairly easily. With all due Respect to SF and the incredible roster they’ve put together. Their time will come soon, but they’re about to run into a Juggernaut. SF 17 PHI 30 Lean Over CIN +1 {2u} CIN 24 KC 20 Lean Under- might make a play on the Un if it gets above 48.. I see plenty of long, time consuming drives, some ending in FG’s, with less big plays. VERY COLD!
