Don't you think they would contain baby jesus and stop the run? Players like Peppers, Urlacher, Briggs and so on. I honestly believe the Bears are better this week than what the line depicts.
Opinions anyone?
Is the Bear's defense really still elite? I know stats can be misleading but they are currently 20th in overall team defense. 28th against the pass & 7th against the run. Not exactly 'elite' numbers. But they are stout against the run which obviously is very important this week against Denver. It's a no play for me but I sure hope your right Raider fan here & need Denver get beat up. |

GB -11... Huge Raider fan here but 11 points isn't enough. I thought it woul be more like 15 / 16. Raiders are likely to get some of their offensive weapons back (finally) which will help. That won't be enough to keep it close I'm afraid. Green Bay shouldn't even dress a punter as I don't think they'll need one. Chuck Bresnahan is the worst DC in the league. Hope I'm wrong. GL all

They are a low win probability team against anyone they play. The Bears imo were a chance to upset the Packers in the NFC. They still are. And before you contest this opinion - how many times have you been screwed by +800 teams by going for easy money. Just be aware I pick upsets. I picked the Seahawks to beat Saints last year in the Playoffs, I picked NY Giants to knock off Packers 3 weeks ago, I even picked Rams to beat Saints over some 6 weeks ago. I been doing this for 5 years and I pick upsets. How and Why? Because I know what teams and players are like. I have the instincts. They may not be right 20% of the time but I got 80% to ride shotgun with. Carson Palmer is a BACKUP as well?? He left Cincy as the starter due to a contract dispute & joined the Raiders as the starter because they lost their QB due to injury. Sooooo he left Cincy as a starter & joined the raiders as a starter yet he's a BACKUP You are hopeless |

As far as the actual game goes, I think Raiders win & cover but don't believe it will be a run-away. The Bears situation this week reminds me of the Raiders Situation a few weeks back when they got embarrassed by the Chiefs. The Raiders were playing well & then loose their QB. The follwing week the additon of Carson is talked about more than the actual game. Kind of like all you hear the last two days is the are the Bears going to get Orton. It is a tought spot for them! That being said the Raiders have not played well at home all year & Forte could have a big day running the ball & in the screen game. Not to mention Raiders will be without Dmac, Jacoby Ford, & DHB. Carson is playing well though & Bush is a beast. Raiders 26-20. GL everyone

Arebt; Bears win this outright going away. Are you trying to say Carson Palmer is one of the league's worst Qb's If so nothing you say should be taken seriously. Or if that's not enough to never take you seriously the Bear's are 'your team' and you don't know who their back up QB is. I suggest you create a new account and start over. You only have 75 posts, not that big a deal. |

Everyone is talking about how the Raiders won't be able to run & Campbell can't carry a team. Are you expecting the Steelers to score 40? I don't think so. O-Line is a mess & the Raiders D has been playing great football. That being said, I think it's a close game going into the 4th quarter at which point either team can win. Only takes one big play (Jacoby Ford) GL |

We're lucky here in SoCal. The late great Chick Hearn with the Lakers & Vin Scully calling the Dodgers. Two of the best in their respective sports. |

I miss Chick. Remeber towards the end of his career when he would say James Worthy to the hole when it was Robert Horry. Wrong dynasty Chicky baby. About tonight..... I do not susbscribe to the 'never bet on your team' maxim. After all, which team do you know best?? But I don't have a strong enough lean tonight to pull the trigger. If you made me, I'd say the Lake show closes the door. Just going to enjoy the game. Let's do it for Chick

The goal is to make money right? Picking the right side in an NIT game pays just the same as a game in the sweet 16. I have done much better this year playing the lesser known teams. Sure betting Pacific vs. App state isn't as excited as Cuse Vs. Butler, but a win is a win is a win
