Very sad to see Giant Ryan go down in that race. I thought he had a good chance of survival, but unfortunately theres nothing you can do about laminitis. Will definitely remember him!

Yawanna Twist ran one of the fastest speed figures of any horse in the country @ the General George. Was a great race to watch and will not forget about Yawanna Twist either.  Routine surgery, so it seemed......crazy how things happen.

Two great horses and two sad stories, makes it tough to watch the sport. 

Looking forward to that full speed collision between Harrision and Tebow..............

I remember him missing Mine That Bird's run...........Thinking he second guessed what he was seeing though.....after having called him 25+ lengths back at the half mile or so.

I enjoy listening to his calls though. Denman too.

At least he is just banged up a bit and not paralyzed or anything too serious..........Hopefully he will have a quick mend and be back after a bit.

Always tough to watch a horse/jockey go down.

Gomez's agent prob had a $1000 DD or something....singling both. Ive seen second legs of DD's pay $500-$1000 when theres a 22-1 shot as part of the winning ticket. $46 would piss me off!!!!!!

I figured I would post something just in case anyone happens to play the races at C-town....They are now racing Tuesday night and not on Sunday afternoons...starting tonight.

I suppose it will give them a bit of a boost since there's not much else racing on Tuesday.....

Ive noticed V Espinoza with mounts @ Charles Town lately-- is this the same trainer I see with a lot of horses out west??
