Let's go Gators, I'm on them as well. Also have them +2400 in a futures bet. Oregon was good to us last night, let's keep rolling!

Not only do I think EVERYONE will be on Kansas today I like Oregon's length and athleticism even without their big man. Don't think Mason will be able to control this game like he has so far this tournament. Could it be that Kansas is head and shoulders above and playing to their full potential on this great run? Sure but I don't think they cover this tonight and I'm going to throw a small bet on the ML for Oregon as well.
Think it's about time for the Bill Self game this tournament. Which means a game that is closer than most people think it should be and he begins to feel the pressure n has been known to coach or not coach his team out of games. There's a nice track record of this. 2004 - 1 seed, loses to GT in Elite 8 2005 - 3 seed loses to Bucknell 1st round 2006 - 4 seed loses to Bradley 1st round 2007 - 1 seed, loses to UCLA in Elite 8 2008 - Nat'l Champs (can't take anything away from this but he almost and probably should have choked that Davidson game away) 2009 - 3 seed lost to higher seeded MSU 2010 - 1 seed loses to Northern Iowa is 2nd round 2011 - 1 seed loses to VCU in Elite 8 2012 - 1 seed loses Natl Champ to Kentucky 2013 - 1 seed loses to Michigan in Sweet 16 2014 - 2 seed loses to Stanford in 2nd round 2015 - 2 seed loses to Wichita St in 2nd round 2016 - 1 seed loses to Nova in Final Four In most if not all Kansas was considered the more talented team and/or favorite. I think if this game is close at half Self starts feeling the pressure. Really like Oregon getting all those points. BOL to everyone on whatever you take today! |

Sorry if this is a double post as I tried putting this up earlier and it doesn't show on my screen now as a thread.
Can someone tell me why this spread is only 7?! I feel like unloading on this game, I saw projections for Princeton matchups and loved the WVU as I thought they would beat them SU, but they biggest concern was a team with a skilled big man n they get ND! The kid from Penn have them fits and he has no left hand, Bonzie might put up a Wilt Chamberlain type stat line this game! I think this is disaster for Princeton and ND has no problem covering the spread. |

Can someone tell me why his spread is 7? I feel like unloading on this game. I saw a lot of projections for Princeton which had WVU and IMHO Princeton would have beaten WVU SU, my big concern was Princeton running into a skilled big man, the freshman from Penn who has no left hand gave them fits, I think this is the worst possible matchup for them and ND rolls in this one. Bonzie might put up a Wilt Chamberlain stat line in this one!

FSU def is bad away from home which is scary I think they could ruin a lot of brackets two ways, they could lose to fgcu which I don't see happening I think they win and cover IMHO, or they could make a run like they did in the middle of the season and go to the elite 8 or FF. Don't see either happening tho haha but neither would really be a shock to most

I think that a lot of experts and media personnel picking FGCU is a good thing for FSU. This team uses things like that as a huge motivation and I know all others do too but this team has made people eat their words so far this year. They were picked preseason 8th in the ACC by the media and finished 2nd. I think we really see a motivated FSU team this Thursday night and maybe even moving on. A team this big this deep and this athletic is going to be a tough out. Just my thoughts so far.

Jags just wanted to say I really enjoy your breakdowns of all these games I'm new on here been about 2 months and just started posting regularly with Ivy tournament (live 3 min from Princeton campus) so I've been to almost every home game. If I like a game with my own research and see you on it it usually puts me over the top, and then like today if I'm unsure ab a game and see u on the opposite I stay away! (Wisconsin) GL today and hopefully we both win some money next week during the tourny!

Is the third time the charm for Yale? Princeton beat them by 8 at home before beating them by 21 at Yale on Feb 17 for their first win there in over 5 years. I don't think that will happen again (but I certainly could) but I do think this game will play very similarly to the first mtg. Princeton shot 27% from 3, Cook was off all game and they played poor defense for most of it (seemed to turn it on around the 7 minute mark and we all saw what happened). All of that could happen again but I doubt it.
They just played the host team on their home floor. Today the crowd will be 2/1 in their favor. I'm here I know. And some people look at the streak as a burden I see it opposite I think it's a calming thing. You can get down and look at your teammates and say we've done this 18 straight times, relax play our game and make it 19. Penns big man gave Princeton fits yesterday and I don't think Yale has anyone like him on their roster, not with the skills to pass like him anyway. This comes down to two things, when Princeton goes "5 guard lineup" how does Yale adjust and which D shows up for Princeton. They hangs their hat on their D. I think they show up from the start today and win this game by DD. GL to everyone today no matter who you're playing! Pick: Princeton -7 1-1 yesterday Princeton W Harvard L If anyone knows where I can bet Harvard to win the Ivy next year let me know haha Also leaning SMU and Wisc today. Anyone with any other opinions or insight would be appreciated! |

Princeton has been very hot lately blowing everyone except Harvard off the floor, last time they played at the Palestra they looked like the Warriors (before Durant injury) and made everything from deep, i think the addition of Kerry Kittles as an assistant really pays off with ingame adjustments and any momentum or energy Penn may feed off of by being at home will be negated by Princetons execution. Very veteran team who wants to make the tournament on their last go around. Princeton -7.5
Harvard has lost 2 in a row and Yale is on a 3 game win streak. Harvards two loses came at Princeton very close then the next night at Penn on a late shot when Penn needed the win, Harvard was already locked into the #2 seed at the time of both of these games. I'm taking the more talented team after seeing both of them in person and the better coach. Harvard -2 BOL |
