Great write up Jimmy as always. I'm on Bama big as well. I was looking at a couple of prop bets and I see Lacy -90.5 and Yeldon -76.5.
If Bama wins like I think they will, I think both of these players go over the total. Thoughts?

Anyone think this line jumps back up to 8 before kick off. Been hovering on 7.5 all day. I love the 8 points with KState, especially knowing how much Oregon loves to go for 2.
Thoughts?

Season: 56-48
Best Bets: 15-7 Bowl Games: 0-0 San Diego State +3.5 My first pick of the bowl season is going to San Diego State. I am a big believer in motivation for bowl game betting. In other words, which team wants to be there and which is well....just there. San Diego State has sold its entire initial allotment of tickets and then asked for more. BYU is still working on the first set. San Diego State is going to a bowl for the 3rd year in a row which is a first in the school's history, while BYU is going to it's 8th straight bowl game. Plus throw in the fact that this is a home game for SDSU and I give the motivation factor to SDSU. Another thing I considered for this game is BYU is 2-4 on the road this year and I consider this a road game. I know BYU has a great defense, but SDSU D is not bad as well. BYU is also going into this game without their starting Center and who knows what qb will play. Expect some center/qb exchange mishaps. With all that being said, San Diego comes into to this game the hotter team and I believe they win this one outright. |

Teo is tied for 57th in the country in total tackles. Enough said!

@yacker I dont completely disagree with you, but sometimes expecting to win can also lead to being to cocky. Call me crazy, but I think UGA is the hungrier team and has more to prove. Alot of Bama's players have already won a SECCG and NC.
Either way, I like the points in what I think will be a close game

The only thing I do know is that Bama's players have been in this position before and Georgia's haven't. And please don't compare Georgia playing in the SECC game last year to this one. The stakes are much higher. Like the rest of the card. I am considering a teaser with Stanford and NIU tonight instead of playing the sides. This game scares me the most of my picks. I think you are right, we don't know much about the UGA team because they have not been challenged too much, but then again Bama hasnt either. I would agree AM > south carolina, but probably UF > LSU. In any event, this one comes down to more gut feel and I think UGA has a little more (not much at all) urgency in this one because of the fact they have come so close many times. Just my opinion. Should be awesome game and I'm going to miss a lot of the 2nd half because my cousin is getting married. Sheesh who gets married during football season!

Played Lville last night (posted in another thread). Hopefully N. Illinois and Stanford cash tonight.

Love the Midd Tenn St bet. They have played really well this year. 10 points is too much to pass up in a shootout.

@goscots All the rutgers backers forgot that their Offense is down right horrible and cost them the game. Bridgewater was a beast!

Everyone is tweeting that Lville took the field for warm ups and Teddy is no where to be found. Stein is starting.
Still think UL wins, because Rutgers can not score.
