I was looking to Lagasse's Stadium at the Palazzo, but I read that they have a $50 minimum on regular games and a $100 minimum per person on big games such as the playoffs. Seems a bit too steep just to watch the game and drink some beers. I'll have to see what the woman wants to do. If all else fails I'll just go to the Bellagio sports book. created a topic Wild Card in Vegas in Las Vegas So as I'm sure you all know I'm heading to Vegas on the 6th. Wasn't going to bother really sitting down to watch an entire football game while I was out there cause my girlfriend could careless, but now that the Steelers (my home town team) are going to be playing on Sunday, me and the ol' lady want to find a nice place to sit down, get loaded, and watch the game. We are going to the statosphere champagne brunch to get sloppy then heading wherever for the start of the game (1:30 vegas time) but dont know where to go. I was thinking the Bellagio sports book so I can make a wager and drink for free (since i'm a cheap ass) but I i'm not sure if that's the setting she would really appreciate. I'm sure there's tons of good sports bars near the strip, but to be honest I'm not too familiar with any. Any suggestions? If you're looking for a book that serves free booze, the Bellagio is the spot. Haven't been to any strip clubs out there, and I won't be going to a night club until I go back on Jan 6th, so I can't help you there. created a topic Cheap Ass Vegas Deal in Las Vegas Check this out. I'm going to vegas with 3 of my friends January 6th - January 9th. It's going to be my first weekend out there. Last time we went Monday - Thursday. Leaving from Pittsburgh, airfare through SouthWest Airlines is $99 each way for a direct flight. Comes out to $220 after taxes and fees. 3 nights at the Flamingo total comes to $117 after taxes and fees. That's like $35 a night! If you're willing to stay at Imperial Palace, it's even cheaper. (Somewhere around $95 for 3 nights before taxes and fees) This rate is with the Total Rewards card that anybody can sign up for online for free right now. For 4 people to go and split the cost, it's $250 per person. I've never seen a deal this sweet especially on a weekend! My theory is that statistically this weekend it's less crowded so they offer such a cheap rate with the hotel and the airline to attract more people. I may be complete wrong though. Does anyone know whats up with such a great weekend deal? Kind of weird. It doesn't really matter to me either way though. replied to how many pushups can you do? in General Discussion 25... and i feel like im guna pass the fuck out lol when i was in basic training and AIT i maxed out at about 50 in 2 min. i always have a difficult time with push ups because of my back. the chiropractor said i have piss poor posture which puts extra strain on my upper back/ shoulders so push ups are more difficult/ painful for me than most people. i always cheat though. i've actually failed PT tests because of it. some drill sergeants don't care as long as your close, but other want your fucking chest bouncing off the ground. replied to Is it true NOBODY is betting hockey in vegas? in Las Vegas when i was in Vegas back in May I had the pleasure to sit down with a guy named Bob Davis. he is the manager of Leroy's Race & Sportsbook. i think he was like roommates in college with my buddy's dad or something years ago, that's how we met up with him and bullshitted with him. his job is to adjust the spreads accordingly with the amount of money that is being placed on each side. awesome fucking job and super sweet yearly bonuses. he was telling me how hockey is by far the least bet on sport and how basketball and football are by far the most bet on sport. he was saying how baseball isn't bet on very heavily either but it's def the best sport to bet on if your trying to beat the casino. also he said that a dead give away to whether or not the better is betting for fun or for a living is if he bets any parlays. apparently none of the big wigs mess with parlays at all. he was also saying how teasers are becoming very popular amongst the big players. he is a cool ass dude and i wish i wasn't so hammered when we met up with him so i could have had a better conversation/ interview. just thought i'd share with you guys.
