OK.. I have seen every Texas Tech Game.. and I know they have no defense when it comes to stopped "Good" Teams..

Oklahoma ran thru them.. and I dont consider the stoping Northwestern State, Texas St and New Mexico to really count...

Meanwhile West Virginia has scored a combined 118 points in two weeks vs Nationally Ranked Teams..

I think Texas Tech is totally outmatched and I could see a

54-20 type game..

But with a 4.5 point WV Spread.. What the heck am I missing.. There will be no let down with W. Vir  they want to win the BIG XII in their first season..

Help me figure this out.. I just can't see it

First of all, Tony is somewhat famous (or infamous) for taking this tone.  He does it consistently, and is well documented around gambling forums - it is no secret - and is well known.

That being said....  A couple of thoughts....

1.  Tony deals with lying scamming bullshit artists 90% of his day.  So while I am not saying his tone is acceptable in all cases, it is hard to expect the same of him as customer service from a steakhouse.

2.  The nature of a wager on wrestling is ripe for interpretation, and controversy.  As Tony says, it isnt hockey or football where you have established rules, it is kind of make it up as you go along.  So results can and will be up for interpretation at times.

3.  Tony and 5dimes are interested in grading wagers quickly, and it is very hard to take back a wager once it is graded.  It is in their best interest to stick with a grading at all costs.

4.  If you are going to take wagers on wrestling, than you should understand that it is not hockey or football and take appropriate actions to avoid these disputes, or dont take the wagers in the first place.

5.  It is POSSIBLE, that when you have rules that are up for interpretation, and one side has all the power - that that side will abuse their power in their favor.  Buyer beware.

It sounds to me like Tony stated that the winner would be the announced winner, and it sounds to me like the announced winner was the miz (whoever the fuck that is).  IF that is the case, it seems pretty simple to me - but something tells me that is not exactly the case.

Should Tony be more aware of the customer and what that means?  Yes.  But the customer should also be aware of the industry he is participating in - it is full of scammers trying to pull off everything in the book - and Tony heads it off with a gangster attitude.  But his attitude isnt what is in play here IMO - it is the logical flow of the events.
