I am throwing out an idea. Ok. The reverse bookie is a site where you go to and the bookie is forced to make the choice of team, then you have the other team. Because you just want to bet that they will lose (by choosing wrong). Its a ridiculous idea but I thought it was funny. I don't want to spend time following the games I just wanna bet that they will choose wrong. I should just start my own site if I wanna take bets, which is what I would be doing. It would be called a challenge. You log in and you are asked what sport would you like to challenge the bookie on and how much and then they choose any team that night, and you have the other team. That's silly. Go Bucks! |

The refs will call fouls against Milwaukee forcing them to back off on defense. This will give Philly room to operate. This is how you help a team win. Now does the nba want to help philly? |

For this reason only I see Miami +19 as a live dog in week #2. I am not sure what your saying exactly. Are you saying the patriots feel bad for their former coaches? Well it seems to me that it would actually take more effort to not win by 20 or more. I mean why wouldn't they win by 30? Do you think they will fail some drives early or just allow miami to get first downs and points cause they feel bad for them? The patriots have no guilt. They shut em down from first snap until the last. |

Ill start vs Minnesota and yeah youll all call me a homer because of my icon but like most vikings losses this year we turned that game over with two huge turnovers if you watched the game you know what im talking about i dont have to go back into, we held brees to 120 yards passing and outgained them 423 yards to 270. No I dont beleive Dallas offense or even defense is as good as the vikings but I could the game going like that if Dallas doesnt turn the ball over they could win this game. Anyways moving on then the saints beat the rams 45-35 at home again great game offensivley vs a terrible rams defense who had a lot of blunders and could easily won that game with 50 something points. Saints then pounded the bengals away who at the time looked like a decent team but now we see have fallen off, then they pound the depleted eagles team at home, and beat the falcons on thanksgiving again at home which couldve easily been a closer game if not for mulitple costly turnovers. The brees led offense is obv very tough to stop but there defense is mediocre at best and lives off of turnovers , which in my opinion is ore luck than anything. Im just not ready to crown this team yet and I see huge value and an upset happening this thursday. GL
ok so your this weeks guy saying bet against saints. I am only going to address your lack of respect for the saints defense. First of all you fail to mention (and maybe cause it hurts your argument) that the saints have number one rush defense and the cowboys live off of elliot. The saints defense against the run is like tecmo bowl when you choose the offensive play correctly. Secondly the turnovers are not luck. You fail to recognize that the saints defense is conscious of what they are doing purposely trying to strip and deflect passes. These are the extra thoughts that count. The saints defense is coming together more and more every week. I do believe the cowboys defense is good however and this will be a challenge for the saints but they protected well against the rams d-line with Arron donald and company so yeah the thing is that the saints have not even played their best game yet. Dallas is another tune up game for the playoffs and beyond. Oh and didn't the saints sacked matt ryan 6 times too? I am not saying the saints are a lock to cover but betting against them seems foolish. |

Playing with nothing to lose is different than playing not to lose: Falcons @ Saints

Having said that, when it comes to division, rivalry games, records seldom matter. Last Sunday, the Falcons played an extremely tight, conservative game against the Cowboys, in a game they tried not lose. Over and over again, the Falcons settled for FGs, punts and conservative play calls, relying on their defense of all things, to win the game. In fact, the Falcons offense did not get going, or did not let loose, until they were down by DD. Only then did they play like they had nothing to lose, driving downfield with relative ease and scoring. All this to say, in a must win type game, with their backs against the wall, average teams like the Falcons usually don’t perform well. With their season essentially over, the Falcons now travel to NO to play in their last meaningful game. Meaningful in that the national spotlight will be on them for probably the last time this season. This is the Falcons SB and, lucky for them, they play a familiar foe, on a short week no less, that is coming off two of its biggest wins of the season. Not only did the Saints demolish a team with SB talent and expectations, in the Rams, but they also demolished last year’s SB team, the Eagles. With all that behind them, and riding the highest of highs, the Saints now face a wounded and beaten division rival, with nothing to lose, in a redemption type game for the Falcons and a letdown spot for the home team. I expect the Falcons to come out with guns blazing in this game and take the kinds of chances they didn’t take against the Cowboys. And if the Falcons can jump on NO early, and keep their noses ahead, this game just might come down to the wire. With the last seven games between these teams having been decided by 10 points or less, +13 for the dirty birds is the play here. Good Luck
I bet Saints -30.5 +725, and i am going to win that bet |

I would instant bet on Lions, but then again I feel like I'm a Khalil Mack fumble 6 away from regretting that pick. Lions are going to score, are Chase Daniels/Jordan Howard really enough to carry them? I know the Lions run defense is suspect, but it's a lot easier to stack the box with Chase at QB. What do you guys think? I REALLY liked Bears before Trubisky was out. Now I've flipped i have bears. the reason is the defense and the fact that the bears are going places there not going to let the lions get in their way. Chase will be fine, bears can run the ball and defense all day |
