I'm crazy about the betting opportunities the tournament brings. I devised a formula years ago that my computer spits out showing what I believe the lines should be with my input. When I see games that are 2 or more points off, it piques my interest. That doesn't mean I will bet one way or another, it's just a notification. Sometimes a notification that Vegas knows a lot more than I do. Here's the games I looked at:
Ok St I thought they'd be favored by 11/2, they are + 1 1/2 WVU- I thought the Mountaneers would be favored by 6 1/2, they are + 4 1/2 Baylor- I had at -11, they are - 8 1/2 No. Iowa- I had at -8 1/2, they are at 6 1/2. That game could be in the 40's L'ville at -11, they are at -9. The most overrated team in the country. Virginia-21. They are at 16 1/2 Georgetown -10 1/2. The line is 7 1/2. Gonzaga -201/2. The line is 18. I would love feedback and comments on the tourney. |

The Orange need to pound the ball inside and this game goes down to the wire. Despite the weather, the dome will be rocking tonight.
Perhaps it was the upset in South Bend followed by the trip to Cameron that caused the Orange to come out dead flat with five turnovers their first seven possessions and ultimately a lackluster effort. Clearly JB's 39th club is not one of his best with NBA defections and injuries to a pair of Mickie D big men. Nevertheless this is too many points. The Cavs players have never seen the dome and the league with its cozy gyms are a far cry from 30,000. Syracuse is going to run high pick and rolls all night and that will lead to opens shots for its three shooters. Additionally, VA. only sends two to the offensive glass and zones are historically vulnerable to offensive boards. Feel the over under in the area of 114 is a solid number. Sixty percent are on the over since Bennett has said (and Va. practiced on the first available shot) but who are the shooters exactly! Call it 59-57 as the Orange will certainly be all out!

YTD: 30-31 -2.45 units 0-1 yesterday. 1 play...... North Carolina -11 Can't see the Orange keeping up tonight. Syracuse is traveling on short rest after the loss to Miami. They only go 6 deep, and 4 of their starters played all 40 minutes on Saturday. Injuries to Coleman and McCullough can't be understated. Heels better on their own floor. Think they pull away in second half. See what happens. Insight and comments always welcome. BOL |

66.5 is far too high. I'd pass if that is the only number you can get. |

GUYS Let me start this off and say I do very well LIVE Betting. Let me Also say that Sport games can change in a matter of min. Teams can go cold and allow a team back.. There are many reasons to hedge.. I feel its a risky bet but if you can HEDGE you do it. There have been 4 times a team was up big and if I didn't hedge I would of lost 1k.. I think Live WAGERING / Hedging is a SKILL but if you can get good at it you win good size of money.. I don't wanna hear about your losing money bc to me ALL I care about is making money of bother sides and who cares who wins.. what is wrong with making 333 or 250 like last night?? people make that kinda of cash maybe working 30 hrs a week... Hello the goal is to gamble and win and I do a great job of hedging. I really enjoy doing it in NHL bc u get some great value . I also enjoy doing it on college hoops but the KEY is very simple
When your team is up big you have a few thoughts in ur head. How high of a value do you want bc if that team comes back the money will drop. You need to wait and see how u can make a good profit on both teams.. and this is a MUST.. ******* You must WATCH the GAME******* you have to get a feel of whats going on and who can win and can you wait to get the team u like at a smaller ML VALUE I only BET the following ways: * FAVS play ML * DOGS play spread * or hedge.. its all I like
A key also is if you have a close game from 0 to -4 you can take a dog because if the dog gets out to a lead the fav will be a dog.. Lets try it tonight boys Syracuse vs. Maryland

Why is Syracuse only -4, and why is Kansas -11.5 against Oklahoma? Are these locks or traps? I'm leaning Oklahoma and Syracuse. But haven't done research yet. What's everyone's take on this? |

A former SU resident and season ticket holder for many years. We will have our way inside tonight for a lot of points. ND will be chucking up 3's all night as that's the only way they can make a game of it. JB knows he needs to rest his starters and you will see Roberson and some of the other freshmen get playing time. That all leads me to like to over. GL All

Your avatar shouldn't be smiling if your only contention with BC is they can bomb threes.SU freshman play a lot tonight and you may get a back door cover................but I doubt it.............

ATL,
Your post seems a bit misleading doesn't it. The Jets have played no one except for the Pats.....and maybe Titans. Make all the excuses for Mrs. Brady and the Pats. The Jets were without their starting slot receiver, tight end and linebacker ( Coples). They outplayed NE and blew the game. They laid an egg in Tenn with turnovers resulting in 28 points and that actualy may be who they are. The Falcons have not played anyone that's eye appealing including New Orleans, who will lose their share of games. You may think you are sitting on a blowout, but I disagree. The Jets will run the ball all night and try to keep this a low scoring close contest. I see it that way. BOL to you!

Most sites have taken Syracuse/ NWestern off the board for now since Colter has a concussion. Cuse is a big play for me if he's out. Possible out right win.Opening line was 12.

I'm a Cuse homer and that's why I never bet their games. Born, an alum and bleed orange. I anticpated this to be a pick em. If Michigan is so bad why did they open as a 2 1/2 pt favorite. SU cannot play any better on defense that they are right now. The only way they win this one is if Triche, James and CJ go off on the offensive end.
