created a topic Does Blake Griffin owe youtube and ESPN for his All-Star selection? in General Discussion I'm not hating on my man just because I'm a Longhorn. I think Blake is a phenom and could possibly have a better career than Shawn Kemp. I'm just not understanding how he gets voted in over the likes of Lamarcus Aldridge. Aldridge is carrying the Blazers and has his team over the .500 mark despite the countless amount of injuries that have hurt the Blazers. I know the dunks get the highlights but check Aldridges consistant play. You can go to him in the final play of a game...whereas with Blake you limit his productivity if you stop the fast break. Tim Duncan gets in and I wouldn't even consider him the third most important key to the Spurs success. To quote Charles Barkley, "This isn't a lifetime achievement award." I attempted to watch Dark Knight and Case 39 (both BR) and the picture was standard to me. It's not the television. So what is needed to view Blu-ray? This will not only be a road game, but a road game with a playoff atmosphere. Melo is having issues with his knee, and has been shooting poorly. I see him coming out tonight and trying to force the issue a bit. Denver won the previous matchup by 6 as a 10 pt fave. Now they're only a 3 pt fave...just because of the home crowd? I don't enjoy betting on the team that has Brooke Lopez as it's leading scorer but I will take my chances on the dog and the points. Rose and another pending freak streak from Amare in the 2nd half of the season...you would be better off betting on Tim Duncan and his career lows to win the award.
