Depends on what state you are in. Kentucky takes 25.5% if your winnings if you bet at the track. If it's online it just makes you claim them. I would say 27% would be fair for his taxes

nba/nfl 5 years out 70-80% of them are broke.  I know both leagues offer financial advisors for FREE.  Most of them don't take it.  I can not feel bad for someone who had millions and lost it all. 

To answer your question.  Yes she is a gold digger.  I bet if we dig deeper there are other guys she has gone after.
