Korpatsch. Girl is not important enough for Penko to bother to raise her game for |

Yes, exactly. I have now decided to edit my daily ideas down to one large ("safe") bet and one risky bet in a way that the stake on the risky bet equals the net potential winnings from the safe one. But today I have simply been struggling to pick a safe bet that passes the gut test of confidence.
Anyways, went with O1.5 goals for France v Croatia instead :) BoL to all WTA warriors in here!

I only want to play safe tomorrow, but I think I have over-thought all women's matches
Serena -2.5 games @1.36 Kerber +1.5 sets @1.18 Goerges +1.5 sets @1.34 I can't choose! I can't see Serena losing to a floater in QF. She hasn't played anyone even remotely challenging though Kerber could be on or off, I'm scared Kasatkina has learned her lessons from her loss to Kerber a few weeks back Goerges - could have a meltdown. neither have anything to lose but Bertens has way less pressure |

Hi and thanks for the feedback in my other two threads about R1 matches.
Edited my picks today down to: PARLAY of L.Mayer - Keys - Goerges @2.78 LARGE bet Lorenzi @1.53 vs Djere, our Milan Challenger clay champ from yesterday RISKY Stefkova +4.5 games vs Bertens @2.05 RISKY Larsson +5 games vs Venus @1.91 Trying to keep this thread alive! Good luck to all!

Following the same logic as my other thread. All feedback and extra insights very welcome!
TAP-IN * GOERGES vs Puig. Another comeback girl, but stumpled upon a firey opponent * JABEUR vs Golubic - Jabeur pretty confident on grass, although the sense of occasion may floor her * STRYCOVA - Kuznetsova - both tricky, but Strycova a dog with more grit and better legs * MARTIC vs Makarova - game built for grass, time to let it shine this year too * BOULTER vs Cepede-Royg - great week for her and she will want to carry the momentum of taking a set off Flipkens to her R1. Home support! * LIU vs Konjuh - enjoy that check, then get better and start a comeback at a lower level. Liu * PUTINTSEVA vs Linette - a pair of grassophobes * RISKE vs Baczinsky - again, enjoy that check and the one from US Open, but then it's really high time to retire * VICKERY - Vondrousova - another talen wasted by injuries WORTH THE RISK * SWAN vs Begu - one of the few wildcards who is not completely useless on grass or tennis in general * STEFKOVA vs Bertens - latter's season pretty much ended after French Open * LARSSON vs Williams V - I will force Venus into retirement by fading her every time she plays. She looked THAT bad at the Frenchies. (yes I know clay's her worst surface, but she's more of an auntie Venus rather than champion Venus these days) * RUSE vs Radwanska. Hopefully "Aga" gets too cocky from her Eastbourne form. * CIRSTEA vs Rybarikova - because retirement 3 days ago * MARIA vs Svitolina - not the kind to lose R1 but damn has Svitolina drawn a short straw for her opener * VEKIC vs Stephens - could lack confidence, but if Wawrinka has already lost by the time this match takes place she might feel the good pressure to be the breadwinner haha * BLINKOVA vs Wang. They should just give cash to most of the Chinese girls to stay away from Wimbledon. * ALLERTOVA vs Kontaveit - all slumps must end at some point but second half of 2017 shows that Kontaveit likes to extend them for ridiculously long periods * SORRIBES-TORMO vs Kanepi - the success story of the qualies. Kanepi is always a great fade. * HERCOG vs van Uytvanck - slow to build form again, should peaks just in time to beat vU who is on her way down * WATSON to take a set off Flipkens. |

I had a quick look at the draw and picked a few which could use 'further analysis'. Any thoughts, fellas?
TAP-IN * LORENZI vs Djere. Djere is playing a clay Challenger final tomorrow * JARRY vs Krajinovic - first match back for Kraj-Kraj. * MAYER L vs Struff - again slow comeback from injury for Struff * DIMITROV vs Wawrinka - maybe even 3-0 * BENNETEAU vs Fucsovics - Fucsos retirement in Stuttgart worries me WORTH THE RISK * CARBALLES-BAENA vs Harrison R - both in woeful form * BONZI vs Lacko - nice wins in qualies, Lacko still mid-tournament right now * STAKHOVSKY vs Sousa - Former always posts great grass results. Equal odds though * CECCHINATO vs de Minaur - deM has flopped at all slams this year after good lead-up tourneys * DOLGOPOLOV vs Cuevas - Cuevas another player who has decided to ignore lead-up tournaments, on the other Dolgopolov trying the second comeback * CLARKE taking a set from Gulbis. Oldies get lapses in concentration and Clarke has the home support * PAIRE vs Murray - although he may be too nice to beat someone when he can smell blood * POSPISIL vs Kukushkin - I mean it's high time to get you act together on grass again! Kuku's revival tour should end in Eastbourne * BERRETTINI vs Sock - lucky draw for Sock! But still worth a bet, sets +2.5 to Berrettini should be a tap-in * BAGHDATIS vs Thiem - fading Thiem anywhere but clay especially @6.00 is always expressway to richezz. B-man has been DIRE though and will probably announce his retirement in the middle of the match if it goes to 5 sets * TIAFOE vs Verdasco - 1 grass win per season is enough UNSURE, BUT TEMPTED * Albot vs Carreno-Busta - would go for Albot in a heartbeat if his 2018 grass season boasted anything more than 1 loss. * KUBLER vs Pella - Pella's only win of note whis season was over Millman. Early odds favour him though * Chardy vs SHAPOVALOV- I mean Chardy's been the surprise package of the g-season and Shapo seems to be just a hot air balloon but I sort of want to support the kid in best of 5 Thanks for your support!

Ain't going nowhere near no women's matches. Chung 3.5+ sets Other men's QF over 36.5 (I'm another firm believer in Federer folding when draw collapses) |

I understand that Kerber is an overwhelming favourite here, but in the case where your outright horse has gotten so far already, I would sacrifice at least 15% of my potential profits and bet on Kerber's win against Keys. But that's just me... |
