replied to Texas State versus Arizona State second half in College Football As a proud TEXAS STATE alumnus, I dig hearing my school being mentioned! AZ ST played TX ST in San Marcos TX in September. The game was tied at 28 all in the 4th, AZ ST kicked a late FG to take the lead and barely held on to win, the game could've gone either way.... replied to What was your worst beat and for what amount? in College Football In 2007 I placed a $100, 8 leg college football parlay in a Vegas sports book that would have paid out $16,000 I picked all 8 games ATS and hit 7 out of 8, the only loser? Freaking Notre Dame! I picked Notre Dame -2.5 and they proceeded to miss 2 EASY, GIMME field goals in that game, they ended up winning by 1 but obviously didn't cover! I was 1 missed field goal away from a cool 16K in my pocket, I was sick for a few days after that... The next year I went back to the same Vegas casino and placed a $50, 8 leg college football ATS parlay to win $8000 I only risked $50 this time cause, "I know it's not gonna win...."
