Hey what's up man.  Thanks for the kind words.  I will assume you meant Plays and not Playstation (phone autocorrect?)....but thank you.  And you are right, the wisdom/experience is far more valuable than the picks.  The experience is proven, and the picks could be wrong.  I'd suggest you write down your plays, why you play them, why you bet a certain amount, etc, etc.  Then you can reflect on the results to help you improve.

As far as the parlay I say if you like it go for it. I however am leaning towards SD (see earlier post for reasons) so I wouldn't endorse GB.  WIth that said GB is perfectly capable of covering, so do what you feel is right.  I'm probably staying away from that game...probably, lol.

I see everyone posting picks and their reasoning behind them.  That's all I'm doing, and trying to help people see the psychology behind picking well.  I see other posters here that pick at a better clip than I do right now, so it's not like I am some world beater.

My main objective here is to leave a thread that can be referenced by any body that would like solid success principles.  Not just to help them with wagering, but with life.

I know that gambling-addicts frequent this board, and I know what it's like to be one.  I am putting this knowledge out there so that some that will listen do not have to go down that dark road that I went through.

I just want to help people, and I know how to do it.  I see no logical explanation on why covers or anyone would want to ban this thread.  I am not selling anything, I am not being profane, I am not dogging anyone.  I am here to bring a positive energy and a different perspective.  Most of the people commenting have been really receptive and appreciative and so I will continue to share my ideas and positive words.

I realize that there are people living in a negative space, and they choose to express it on this message board.  I get it.  I've been there.  I was a smart mouth kid once. But if someone had pulled me aside and taught me the Ps and Qs of the game, not just wagering, but of life, I wouldn't have had to go so deep into the dark side of selfish living.

I could've corrected course a lot earlier.

That is my main intent here.  To provide the experience and knowledge I picked up along the way, so that other people's lives can be better.

If a moderator would ban me for that, then I was posting in the wrong community anyways.  But I suspect it's not the moderators, or covers banning people, its more of the guys with a juvenile mindset who come on here and offer no value whatsoever, and instead seek just to take people's energy who are driving helpful people away.

They are what is typically called leeches.

Trying to suck the life force out of those who are trying to enjoy intelligent discussions and sharing knowledge.

If they could only see into the eyes of successful people...not just the ones with money...but the ones that are content and happy too...to see that they know the true secrets of life...that life is about giving...that if you want to receive you must give first...that if you want to prosper, you must help others prosper....If they could only see that, they would stop the energy leeching, and they would offer up a positive energy, and we could all work together towards better, more prosperous lives.

Just read through all of the pages of this thread. First, great job so far man, wish I stayed following last week. You have very similar games as the ones I like so I feel a little between puking the trigger after song you like them as well with your recent success. Secondly, who cares who people think you were etc. etc. Pay attention as to what is important gentlemen, dude is posting winning plays and help, info, opinions, are what we are looking for on this site. The positivity is a bonus and if you don't like that, look for his picks abs be out. As far as I can see, this man is hurting nobody and winning and some of us appreciate his posts. Play on brotha and keep up the great work.

It's amazing how many members who haven't posted in months or years seem to find this thread to leave their exclusively POSITIVE, ENCOURAGING comments....  
Who cares they all sound kinda the same......

Haha, yeah brotha Tony Robbins' videos on youtube was definitely one of the biggest influences in helping me understand myself.  Don't be shocked if I directly use his material here to try and help people. 

If anyone reading this would like to learn about human nature/desires, and why they crave certainty and uncertainty, I suggest you look up Tony's videos on youtube.  This is FREE information and I guarantee you that I will help you with your capping far more than comparing stats and rankings.

Human psychology and how thoughts effect energy and performance should be a foundational piece in your thought process, not just in capping games but in relationships in general.

Your foundation is most important.  If you have a faulty foundation (picking games based on what you see on tv and highlights, fantasy sports rankings, basic stats, etc) your building (bank roll) is bound to fall.  Build a strong foundation (Example: Dallas Cowboys were hovering at 8-8 until they put together their massive O-Line.  When they were done with that they pieced together their D-line.  Now when fully healthy, they are a top-5 team in the league, all because the foundation is strong).  I will touch on this more later as I have to get going right now.

TimeisTruth what's up man.  I actually just feel a Giants implosion coming on.  They are pretty good at it.  Last year I believe they started out ok and proceeded to lose 7 in a row around this time of the year.  The Giants are not a solid team.  They have a lot of injuries and now Beckham is banked up which will make him easier to cover if he even plays.  The Giants couldn't stop Kap in the second half of SNF...he had like 3 70yd drives all finishing in TDs to finish that game.  If he started that in the second quarter the Giants would have got blown out.  Meanwhile the Eagles are starting to pick up steam.  Their MO is to wear you out so they can run all over you in the 4th quarter.  I think they'll be able to do that against a very banged up Giants Defense.  Larry O'Donnell can only carry you so far.

Hello Presence, I must say it is nice to see such a positive thread here with all the trolls, name calling, jealous fits of rage and so on and so forth. Love your angles, and I love seeing myself on your sides with most picks. I too have a feeling about KC today, even after they burnt me hard last week..The pats are gonna roll, that's undeniable. In fact I feel more confident about that than any pick this year to day both college and pro.I am a little gun shy about MNF tho, I really liked the eagles, but Bradford looks scared most times, and I really like the way the G men have played lately. Anyways, I wish you continued success and prosperity! Cheers!

dude,you preach about habits,discipline,steady approach and learning from losses etc. and all this other kwan mumbo-jumbo....thats all good,no problem with wat you are saying.....but then you say youre making a play "just to mess around"???so its just a flippant,gut feel on a whim type of pick or wat??......no problem with the specific play,we win sum and we lose some...but the process of making it seems completely at odds with everything else you are saying.

Hey Garister thanks a lot for that man.  Yeah we live in a world full of positives and negatives.  Unfortunately some people have had experiences that cause them to see the world in a negative light.  Though their expressions can be draining, I try my best to choose to see the positives, but nobody's perfect.

melossinglet hey sorry about that.  I didn't pick KC blindly.  I was just on the run this morning and didn't have time to post my reasons for selecting KC.

Last night as I was scrolling through KC's 2014 schedule, I saw a game where they traveled to Miami early in the season and beat the Dolphins without Jamal Charles.  Kniles Davis ran for over 120+ yds on the road against a pretty good Paper Defense (meaning they look good on paper).  I thought this was a spot that a desperate 1-4 KC team could repeat that type of game.  Of course Andy Reid surprised me again.  We have this love hate relationship going back to his days with the Eagles lol.  He got me this time.

I'll choose better words to express my strength of conviction of each pick going forward.  I'm sorry if there was any confusion.  Thanks for commenting, I appreciate the feedback.

elemental thanks man.  I am hoping Pats roll too tonight, will definitely make for a nice win for many of us.  And I hate the Eagles with a passion, but I think they will own the Giants on MNF.  As far as Bradford I wouldn't put too much stock on any one player, look at the Steelers today, they beat the Cards with their 3rd string QB Landry Jones and it wasn't even close.

Speaking of the Colts, let's go ahead and do the loss analysis:

NE Patriots (-7.5) at Indy Colts SNF

Normally with a high point underdog capable of winning I would cap it like I did the SD game that I did for Steven earlier in the thread. (I picked the right team, however I did not play that game).  In that case I would normally choose a Colts team capable of covering as a major underdog at home in primetime.  But like everyone else, I didn't consider this a normal game.  I figured it to be a blowout of epic proportions, but I got it wrong.  Given the chance to do it again, with this Patriots team at -7.5, I would still go with Tommy and the Pats.  I would just feel dumb if I went against them at this stage of their winning streak and lost.  



AZ -3 (-$550) at Pittsburg "The only thing in life that is sure is that nothing's for sure."  Did the rain have an effect?  Possibly.  Should I have checked the weather report?  Definitely.  Certainly didn't expect this outcome.  Cards were outgaining the Steelers it looked like, then some cat named Landry Jones and his sidekick Martavis Bryant came in with some knockout blows.  I normally take the home underdog in this situation, but the backup QB on a short week against a top level team was too hard to back.  I really thought AZ would do to them what they did to Detroit last week.  Winners find a way to win, and losers find a way to lose, so I guess that's the difference between the Steelers and the Lions.  This is no small observation because the Steelers are traveling to play the meandering Chiefs next week who seem to always find a way to lose.


Losses happen, No reason to get down though, as life happens in waves.  Progress happens in ups and downs, not in the straight line that we think it should happen on.

There's lots more opportunities to win this season, starting tomorrow with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Now time to do the math...

 Don't let the hates get you down, man. You had some good info and analysis to share ... but like any other gambling, sports betting has it's variance. Hope you keep sharing with us. You thoughts on Chargers/Packers was spot on.
