With Mookie Betts in sizzling form at the plate, he’s a must-have in the MLB player props market as the Los Angeles Dodgers try to take another step toward the NL West crown.

However, Betts is just one of several appealing MLB picks for Saturday's jam-packed schedule. I’m also looking to Trea Turner as a difference-maker in the big NL East showdown between the Philadelphia Phillies and Atlanta Braves. and Jose Berrios to dominate in his return to Target Field.

Today’s best MLB props

Prop bet #1: Mookie Betts Over 0.5 RBI

+160 at BetMGM

As the Los Angeles Dodgers try to build a cushion at the top of the NL West, Mookie Betts’ steady production has been timely at the top of the order. Though his five-game hit streak came to an end last night against the Arizona Diamondbacks, he still notched an RBI for the third straight game – and his 10th RBI in his last nine outings.

Batting behind Shohei Ohtani in a loaded L.A. line-up, Betts is a lock for RBI opportunities, and he’s seen plenty of Merrill Kelly, with three home runs and a double in 35 career at-bats against the D-Backs starter. Mookie’s 2024 batting average sits at .299 but he’s hitting an eye-popping .327 on the road, and the Dodgers have scored six or more runs in seven of their past nine contests.

This series in Arizona is already off to a wild start after yesterday’s 10-9 thriller, and I expect Betts to remain one of the top offensive catalysts.

Prop bet #2: Trea Turner Over 1.5 total bases

+110 at bet365

Trea Turner is still searching for his first hit of this heavyweight series against the Atlanta Braves, but I’m keeping the faith as he walks into a matchup he likes tonight against tarter Max Fried. The Philadelphia Phillies shortstop is 17-for-45 in his career against Fried for a .378 average and a 1.064 OPS, including three home runs and three doubles, and I’m wagering on him to be busy on the basepaths here.

One glance at Turner's 2024 numbers confirms that he’s been at his best at Citizens Bank Park, where he’s hitting .342 with a .923 OPS. He’s also piled up 20 extra-base hits this year, and his speed always gives him a chance to turn singles into doubles.

Despite going 0-for-7 across his past two contests, Turner produced five hits in the three-game series against Houston earlier this week, and I like this price for him to be a menace against Philly's NL East rivals.

Prop bet #3: Jose Berrios Over 5.5 strikeouts

+135 at bet365

Jose Berrios is back in Minneapolis tonight and he’s been very comfortable pitching at Target Field over the years — including in last season’s wild-card game before he was controversially hooked after three solid innings.

It’s been a nightmare year for the Toronto Blue Jays, but Berrios hasn’t thrown in the towel. He’s posted a 2.94 ERA this month and has lasted at least seven innings in each of his last four starts, including his 13th win of the year last time out against Boston.

The Over on 4.5 strikeouts for the big righty comes at a hefty price, so I’m grabbing the extra value on an adjusted 5.5 line. Berrios has racked up six or more Ks in four of his last five outings and, while his ERA has suffered on the road this season, his strikeout tally has matched his home form.

The Minnesota Twins only managed four hits against Toronto last night, and their offense has been erratic this month, including during a four-game losing streak this week. I like the plus odds for this Over with Berrios bringing his best stuff against his former team.
