DraftKings NBA Pick6 fantasy basketball lineup for February 9
Amen Thompson 18.5 points: LESS
Amen Thompson went for 20 in Houston’s loss to the Mavericks on Saturday, and that number has proved difficult to hit in back-to-back outings. Thompson has only been able to follow up a 20-point game with another twice this season.
The other seven times? Thompson averaged 9.7 points in the next game, with his highest output of 17 points.
Miles Bridges 23.5 points: MORE
The Charlotte Hornets forward was quite literally the only source of offense for the five games when LaMelo Ball was out with an ankle injury, scoring at least 24 points in three of them and averaging 22.6.
He also attempted at least 21 field goals in four of those games. With Ball back, Bridges dropped a cool 25 on San Antonio on 10-for-18 shooting, including the go-ahead three with a ridiculous Ball setup. This is a gettable number with Ball able to feed him regularly.
LaMelo Ball 7.5 assists: MORE
LaMelo Ball made his presence felt in his first game back, scoring 24 and dishing 10 assists to help Charlotte snap its losing skid.
Ball has topped his 7.5-dime line set for Sunday seven times in his last 10 matchups with Detroit, failing to hit the Over by a single assist on two other occasions.
Tim Hardaway Jr. 10.5 points: MORE
It’s been an ugly scoring stretch for Tim Hardaway Jr. He scored just six points on 2-for-9 shooting in a win over Philadelphia, the sixth time in nine games he's scored in single digits.
With Cade Cunningham back from an ankle injury, THJ should be getting a few cleaner looks. In three games vs. the Hornets as a member of the Detroit Pistons, he’s topped his total twice.
Cade Cunningham 28.5 points: LESS
Prior to sitting out with his ankle injury against Philly, Cade Cunningham was in the best scoring groove in his young career. He went for 38 in a loss to the Cavaliers, the seventh time in nine games he’s scored 29+ points.
However, Cade has yet to top this 28.5-point line against the Hornets in eight career games, scoring 22 or less in seven of them.
Gradey Dick 1.5 threes: MORE
One of the bright spots for the Toronto Raptors in this rebuild has been the play of the 6-foot-6 Gradey Dick, who has been shooting a respectable 35% from downtown this season.
He’s upped that figure to a crisp 43.8% through four games in February, and he’s hit two or more triples in nine of his last 13 games. The Rockets are reeling, having lost five straight while letting teams drill 38% from 3-point range in those losses.
