Heat vs 76ers Prediction, Picks & Odds for Tonight’s NBA Game

As the Miami Heat come in looking to add another win to their streak, the Philadelphia 76ers have aspirations to put an end to their losses at home and their silver lining has been through Quentin Grimes as of late. The Sixers will look to him to provide some hope for tonight's matchup.

Riding a three-game win streak, the Heat kick off a three-game road trip when they visit Wells Fargo Center to face the 76ers on Saturday. Can Miami extend their current win streak, or will Philadelphia snap a six-game skid at home?

My Heat vs. 76ers predictions expect breakout guard Quentin Grimes to continue his hot streak. Read my NBA picks to see why you should bet the Over on Grimes’ combo prop tonight.

Heat vs 76ers prediction

My best bet: Quentin Grimes Over 34.5 points, rebound, & assists (-115 at bet365)

My analysis
The Philadelphia 76ers’ skeleton crew lineup will once again be led by end-of-season breakout star Quentin Grimes, who has been a complete stud after getting traded to Philly for Caleb Martin and half of a ham sandwich.

Since joining the Sixers, he’s averaged a healthy 22.1 points, five rebounds and 4.3 assists across 21 games. Grimes’ first few games were productive, but they were a bit up-and-down production wise. He’s certainly found his groove, and he’s scored at least 22 points in nine straight and at least 25 in eight of nine.

He’s turned it on considerably across his last 13 and especially across his last nine. Over the last nine, Grimes has posted 29.3 points, 4.3 boards and 5.4 dimes. That includes an average of 26.3 points, four rebounds and five assists in four home games.

Grimes finished with 22/3/4 in Wednesday’s loss to Washington, snapping a seven-game streak with at least 35 PRA. He’s hit the Over on this line in nine of his last 13, and Grimes comfortably leads the team in Usage Rate (30.1) and field goal attempts (19.2) in that span.

Over the last seven games, the Miami Heat have surrendered 24.1 points, 5.7 rebounds and seven assists to guards, good for 36.8 PRA. Miami’s defense has been an above-average unit this season, but this isn’t a matchup to avoid. Grimes is doing it all for the Sixers and, in the midst of a breakout, I’ll be on him to stay hot.

Heat vs 76ers same-game parlay

Quentin Grimes Over 34.5 points, rebound, & assists

Heat -7.5

Tyler Herro Over 20 points

Neither team has been particularly effective against the spread this season. Miami is 12-22-1 on the road and just 4-10 as the road favorite. Philadelphia is 11-23-1 at home but 10-8-1 as the home dog. Philly has lost six in a row and gone 1-5 ATS in that span, while Miami has won three straight and covered in five in a row. The Heat have played solid basketball as of late, and I’ll bet on them to cover this modest spread on the road against a floundering Sixers squad.

Tyler Herro is averaging a career-high 23.6 points per game this season, and he’s scored at least 20 points in 49 of 70 games this season, including three straight. Across his last four trips to Wells Fargo Center dating back to the 2022-23 season, Herro has scored 30, 25, 23, and 24
